Canadian extreme metal outfit Without Mercy joins us for an in-depth conversation with guitarist DJ Temple to discuss the band's latest EP, Infinite Loss.

In this interview, DJ Temple reflects on the creative process behind the record, the band's decision to leave their comfort zone and fully immerse themselves in the recording experience, and the evolution of tracks such as "The Saint", a song he describes as one of the most significant departures from Without Mercy's traditional songwriting approach. The EP was produced by John Douglass (Alluvial, Nile, Nekrogoblikon) and explores themes of pressure, survival, identity, and endurance through a blend of groove, technical precision, and controlled aggression.

Recommended for fans of Meshuggah, Gojira, Decapitated, Alluvial, and Pantera, this conversation offers a deeper look into one of Canada's most uncompromising modern metal bands.

Subscribe for more interviews, news, and features from the global metal underground.
