‘Ode a Dissoluta Blasfemia Infernal’ is streaming on the No Gleaming Light YouTube channel. The BLASPHEMANIAC track is the second selection revealed from Ataque Diabólico a Sacralidade Brasileira, the Brazilian black metal band's second album, scheduled for international release on November 25 through Adirondack Black Mass.
The record marks BLASPHEMANIAC's first full-length since 2021, following a succession of splits and singles. Active for more than ten years, the band draws on 1980s underground metal and the primitive approach of the 1990s, combining black, death, thrash and speed metal.
The announcement places the album's musical reference points between Vulcano and Sarcófago, Sodom and Kreator, and Venom, Hellhammer and Bathory. It also emphasizes the rawness of analog recordings and the physical culture surrounding underground metal, alongside a rejection of contemporary sterility, trends and algorithmic thinking.
English and Portuguese lyrics run throughout the repertoire. Their subjects include Satanism, black magic, occultism and necromancy, approached through a South American perspective and syncretic cultural elements. The announcement frames its ancestral imagery around traditions preserved against religious domination, distinguishing those references from biblical depictions of the Devil and Hollywood vampire imagery.
Previously revealed track ‘Odioso Manifesto Anti o Monumentalismo Sacro abraâmico’ is available on Adirondack Black Mass' Bandcamp, where album preorders are also open.
