‘Cradle of New Suns’ offers the first material from the upcoming BREEDING CHAOS album, due December 18 through Great Dane Records. The French cosmic death metal band’s announcement directs listeners to YouTube for the new single.

The announcement also returns to ‘Legion of the Dead’, a stand-alone single released in Spring 2025. Its renewed promotion follows an international push around the band’s debut album, Distant Planets, placing the earlier track alongside news of the next release.

Distant Planets introduced a musical concept rooted in astrophysics and interstellar phenomena, with heavy riffs and controlled dynamics. The accompanying press material presents ‘Legion of the Dead’ as an extension of that approach beyond the debut, emphasizing groove, atmosphere and memorable structures over constant speed.

Those descriptions also outline the broader musical direction of BREEDING CHAOS. The announcement compares their melodic approach to Dark Tranquillity and In Flames, their rhythmic precision to Textures, and their darker atmospheric elements to Blood Incantation. Hypocrisy and Soilwork are additional reference points supplied for listeners.

The press material describes the band’s structures as progressive and notes that BREEDING CHAOS are building their live presence across France and Europe while developing their second album. ‘Cradle of New Suns’ is identified as the first taste of the forthcoming record; the announcement does not supply an album title.
