DISMA have outlined their second album, Exitum Profundus, as they join Hells Headbangers. The New Jersey death metal band accompanied the announcement with a statement: "Prepare for immense ruin and annihilation. The war has begun!"
The album will be the first release under the new partnership. In its October 15 announcement, Hells Headbangers scheduled it for the first half of next year.
Exitum Profundus is slated to contain nine new tracks totaling more than an hour of music. Ola Larsson will return to handle the cover artwork.
DISMA formed in 2005 and released their debut album, Towards the Megalith, in 2011. Their comparatively sparse release history also includes two EPs issued over the past decade.
Craig Pillard handles vocals and now also plays guitar in DISMA. His background includes work on Incantation's first two albums. The label's announcement describes DISMA's death metal as primitive and ominous, drawing comparisons with early Celtic Frost and Winter.
Alongside the new album, Hells Headbangers plans to reissue DISMA's back catalog across all formats. Further news is due to follow.
