EPOIMÓRIRÒMIOPE have paired the studio live version of ricordi di un tempo mai esistito with a full studio performance film. Released on October 16 through Epictronic Records, the set revisits the Italian band's album in a live recording made in the studio.

The accompanying announcement, supplied by Tarja Virmakari Press Office, credits Matteo Giuliano Gatti of Digitclan with directing and editing the film. Gatti and Lorenzo Tavernari handled filming, while Matteo Tamburella supplied lighting design and concept. EPOIMÓRIRÒMIOPE produced the project.

The band describe the recording as a reinterpretation rather than a straight reproduction of the original album. Returning to the studio gave them a way to explore the songs' dynamics and atmospheres while retaining the spontaneous elements of live performance.

“The live set is not meant to be simply a reproduction of the album, but rather a new interpretation of it,” the band stated. “We wanted to bring out the dynamics, atmospheres, and nuances of the tracks, while leaving room for the impact of the performance and for that spontaneous element that often emerges only when music is played live.”

The visual production was also a collaborative undertaking. Discussing the filming process, EPOIMÓRIRÒMIOPE said: “For us, this project represents much more than a simple recording: it is the reflection of a shared experience in which music, visuals, and people came together to tell a part of who we are.”

The original version of ricordi di un tempo mai esistito was released on October 10, 2025. Its lyrical subjects include separation, loss, regret, anger, anxiety, death and the fleeting nature of life. The announcement describes the first single, “vertigine,” as exploring absence and memory, with love, identity and time among its concerns.

The studio live running order is “intro,” “vertigine,” “interlude 1,” “istante,” “cenere,” “interlude 2,” “eclissi,” “interlude 3,” “spettro (quello che resta),” “interlude 4,” “coma,” “interlude 5” and “anemoia.”

EPOIMÓRIRÒMIOPE emerged in Bologna, Italy, in 2021 as a one-person project, combining metalcore, EDM and alternative rock. The supplied background traces its development from the dark trap influences of Vincoli in 2021 to the electronic experiments of kabukimono in 2023. It also notes a lyrical move away from social observations toward more personal psychological subjects.

According to the announcement, singles from those earlier albums remain on YouTube but were withdrawn from streaming platforms to mark a new phase in the project's sound and lineup. The supplied personnel credits name Erik Storari for vocals, guitar, composition and production; Sara Fioravanti on bass; Giulio Barranca on drums; and Mattia Poletti on guitar.

The studio live release is available through the band's supplied streaming and purchase destination.
