STREET JUSTICE's debut album, Rules Are For Suckers, is now streaming in its entirety through the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) YouTube channel. The Bavarian heavy metal band will release the nine-track record internationally on October 23 through Dying Victims Productions.

The album follows the formation of STREET JUSTICE by former SAVAGE members Pawel Nemkovic and Axel Warrior after that band's breakup. SAVAGE had released an EP and the debut album Glory Riders, the latter through Dying Victims Productions. The new group continues their heavy metal direction under a different name.

The announcement from Suspicious Activities PR describes the songwriting as a development of that earlier work, with a stronger emphasis on sleaze alongside its riffs, leads and hooks. Its reference points include classic W.A.S.P., TWISTED SISTER, QUIET RIOT and early VAN HALEN, with late-1980s L.A. GUNS used to describe the additional sleaze influence. Those comparisons frame the album's stated musical approach rather than an independent assessment of the recording.

Among the nine songs is a cover of Tina Turner's “One of the Living,” associated with Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. The press announcement connects that choice to a wasteland theme running through the album and describes the band's treatment as heavier than the original. The cover appears third in the running order, between “Lethal Strike” and “Call of the Gypsy.”

Production involved Sergej Dukart of TYRAN, whose technical collaboration with STREET JUSTICE is credited in the announcement with developing the recording's clarity and depth. The album also documents a different drummer from the band's subsequent permanent lineup: Tobias Kasper of SWEEPING DEATH recorded the drum tracks before Marcel Riedel of SURTURIAN joined STREET JUSTICE as permanent drummer.

The complete running order is “S.C.R.E.W.,” “Lethal Strike,” “One of the Living” (Tina Turner cover), “Call of the Gypsy,” “This is My Boomstick (Pt. I),” “Tokyo Subway Molester,” “Under My Wheels,” “This Time (But For Real)” and “Gutter Cat Love.” The announcement also supplies the album cover alongside the full-album stream.
