VESSELES founder Valira’s vocals feature on the newly released single “Until They Are Dust (Reclaimed),” which arrives with a music video. The symphonic black metal project will release the full-length Home (Reclaimed) on March 26, 2027.
According to the announcement from C Squared Music, the song explores growing self-confidence and the empowerment that follows through the narrative of Valira’s demonic origins. It also expands the project’s mythology by revealing the origins of The Beneath, described in the announcement as “a horrific cursed sludge” that consumes humans and gives birth to a new generation of demons.
Home (Reclaimed) places Valira’s own vocals within an album concerned with identity, origins and the difficulty of defining home for someone portrayed as being from another world. The announcement describes piano-driven leads, symphonic compositions and dissonant passages as elements of the record, connecting its musical approach to Valira’s personal exploration through VESSELES.
Nick Loiacono produced, mixed and mastered the album at Fang Studios in San Mateo, California. Valira Nyvran handled vocals, guitars, composition, orchestrations and lyrics, with Ron Graves on bass and Nikolas Brön on drums.
Guest contributions come from session pianist Antonio Giardina and The Vicken Studios Orchestra, whose choir chants appear on “Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed).” Mark Erskine created the album cover artwork.
Founded in 2023, VESSELES released the debut EP I Am A Demon in 2024. The debut full-length Home followed at the turn of 2026, exploring identity, belonging and the narrative of a demon cast into the human world. The forthcoming Home (Reclaimed) now presents that material with Valira’s own vocals.
The announced running order for Home (Reclaimed) is “Flesh Throne (Reclaimed)” (5:16), “Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)” (4:59), “The Beneath (Reclaimed)” (5:14), “Home (Reclaimed)” (6:10), “They Wither… (Reclaimed)” (1:32), “Until They Are Dust (Reclaimed)” (3:11), “Scriptures Etched Into the Mind’s Pillars (Reclaimed)” (3:42), “Perpetual Chasm of Black Mirrors (Reclaimed)” (5:02) and “This Is Not Home (Reclaimed)” (7:08).
