COLD STEEL's full Audiotree Live performance is available now. The Tampa, Florida, six-piece performs material from its debut album, Discipline & Punish, alongside songs from the 2021 EP Will of Spiritual Cleansing, according to the announcement supplied by Freeman Promotions.
The announced selections include "Blacksmith of Damnation," "Killing Season," and "No Escape" from Discipline & Punish, with "Wildfire" and "Dissolve Us All" drawn from Will of Spiritual Cleansing. The session follows a year of touring and brings both album and early EP material into the live performance.
COLD STEEL describes its combination of thrash riffs, hardcore breakdowns and metalcore as "aggressive metal." Formed in 2021, the band released Will of Spiritual Cleansing that year and Deeper Into Greater Pain in 2023. The announcement also highlights "Bad Beat," "Evil Eye" and "Full Tilt" among the band's early tracks. Its debut full-length, Discipline & Punish, was released through Spinefarm.
The band's performance background includes an opening slot for Trivium at its fourth show, secured through a fan poll vote. COLD STEEL subsequently shared stages with Obituary and Weekend Nachos, according to the announcement.
The press release includes two assessments of the band's music. Metal Sucks wrote, "If you don’t find yourself headbanging to this, you might need to check your pulse." Metal Injection stated, "You need this in your life, trust me…this band has one speed, and it's 'stomping f**king riffs.'"
COLD STEEL's lineup consists of Jose Menendez on vocals; Rafael “Rafi” Carbonell, Shawn Wallen and Rafael Calderon on guitar; Janpierre Mojica on bass; and Brandon Thrift on drums. The announcement credits photography to Evan Dell.
