  • CORONER at LPRNYC 05/26/22

I knew Coroner since early 90’s and i never imagined that i would have the chance to see them live ever.

Here we were and boom a complex rhythms machine started to sound and the music was exactly how we heard it in tape.

They had a huge guitar sound, i mean one guitar player and he was huge, the drummer was a Swiss clock playing those unorthodox patterns and singer delivering the tone that we we knew from before.

It was a pleasure to see them.

Hope they are back again soon.

  • VIO-LENCE at (Le) Poisson Rouge 05/26/22

Beautiful! in the complete sense of the expression.

If you were here you should have know all of these classics. It was like playing that cassette that you bought with the money saved at your local record shop after class.

This show even had some crowd surfing and on stage moshing and all. Time machine on its full potential. We need more of these, please.

  • HIDEOUS DIVINITY at Warsaw 04/29/22

These are live photos of Hideous Divinity when supporting Hypocrisy at Warsaw on 04/29/22.

I believe he said they were from Italy. They play super technical Death Metal, i mean to the point that it was a lot. They had on stage with them Yoav Ruiz-feingild, the bass player for Atheist on this run.

Overall they sounded tight and super heavy.

  • JYNX at The Gramercy 05/17/22

Out of all the bands of that night, Jynx was the one that i personally liked the most. I think that the vibe that everyone had on stage was  very motivated and it showed.

Musically it was more diverse that the others but they had also that syncopated guitar/drum thingy that makes this style of music popular.

I don’t know, this was my first time seeing them but they felt like a local band in town doing its thing at a bigger scale.

  • BORN OF OSIRIS at The Gramercy 05/17/22

I believe that i have not a single picture of the singer of Born of Osiris from this show.

Well he moved a lot, back and forth and since their set of lights was so extreme that i was not able to capture him.

But that make sense since their music was based on rhythm mostly so the the beat and the guitar riffs were there to follow and get on with them.

It is all good i guess most important is to project that motion nowadays.
