  One year after their last release, Embryo are back with a completely renewed line-up and a brand-new single called "The Rise To Self-Demise" that marks a new chapter in their career. The band comments:

Musically and lyrically, the song is the conclusion of the concept included in "A Vivid Shade On Misery" showing the last days of Caravaggio’s life and some reflections about them and about the choices he made until then.   This new single represents an evolution in the band's sound, staying true to their unique death metal sound and approach but with a fresh energy brought by the new line-up.

  Additionally, on November 29th, 2024, the long-awaited vinyl release of their critically acclaimed album "A Vivid Shade On Misery" which featured the legendary George Kollias (Nile) on drums. Tracks like "Pride", "Highest Frame" and "Darkest Lights" were highly praised by both fans and critics, solidifying Embryo’s place among the most innovative bands in the metal scene. The vinyl version will be issued on 250 copies, 150 on vinyl total black and the others 100 copies on red vinyl.
