Norwegian melodic hard rock band Lily Löwe has dropped their latest single, “Haunted House,” a chilling and cathartic track that arrives just in time to soundtrack your Halloween. The single is the sixth release from their upcoming sophomore album, "Beautiful Disaster, set to arrive February 6, 2026. “Haunted House” dives deep into the shadows of the mind, using the metaphor of a haunted home to explore themes of anxiety, inner demons, and emotional chaos. With heavy basslines, modern production, and frontwoman Lily’s commanding vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience, dark, raw, and emotionally charged. “It’s about being trapped inside your own head. We wanted the music to reflect that, heavy, haunting, but also cathartic,” says Lily. The single follows a string of high-voltage releases in 2025, including “Wild,” “Demons,” “Puppet Master,” “Glitter & Gore,” and the title track “Beautiful Disaster.” Each song reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, melodic, punchy, and unapologetically heavy. Formed after Lily’s solo debut at Melodi Grand Prix 2022, Lily Löwe quickly grew into a full band featuring some of Norway’s top heavy rock talent: Adrian Sunde Bjerketvedt (Jorn), Patrik Svendsen (Tonic Breed), Stian Hansen (Suicide Bombers), and Eiliv Sagrusten (Invasion). Their debut album LÖWE earned critical acclaim, and their upcoming release promises to push boundaries even further. "Beautiful Disaster" is a sonic journey through power, vulnerability, and transformation, blending classic hard rock roots with modern edge. From the glam-punk riot of “Glitter & Gore” to the emotional wreckage of the title track, the album is “all killer, no filler,” according to the band. Fans can expect more singles leading up to the album’s release, and a live show that’s as intense as the music itself, with raw emotion, heavy riffs, and hooks that stick. “Haunted House” is available now on all major streaming platforms. "Beautiful Disaster" arrives February 6, 2026.
After years of silence, Alien Orchestra, the Oslo-based studio band led by Jan “EpicAlien” Mojdis, returns with a new sense of purpose and creative rebirth. The single “The Last Horizons”, taken from the upcoming EP "Under My Pale Skin" due out in December 2025 (release date TBA), marks a powerful comeback for a project that merges heavy metal intensity with cinematic orchestration, crafting an evocative and deeply emotional soundscape.
“The Last Horizons” features Mats Haugen (Circus Maximus) on lead guitar and Simen Sandnes (Evergrey, Temic, Shining) on drums, adding remarkable depth and musicianship to the song’s dramatic composition. The track blends soaring melodies, layered orchestrations, and heavy metal drive, embodying Alien Orchestra’s trademark fusion of epic atmospheres, melodic metal, and ambient textures.
Founded in 2014, Alien Orchestra has always existed at the intersection between metal and film music, exploring themes of the deep universe, extraterrestrial life, and the mysticism of Nordic nature. The upcoming EP "Under My Pale Skin" was written in the aftermath of Jan’s victorious battle against cancer — a struggle that profoundly shaped his outlook and songwriting. While he composed the main riff for the EP on piano back in 2022, his true creative return took place in 2024 when he was finally able to play guitar again and give life to a new chapter of Alien Orchestra’s story. The record stands as both a reflection on survival and renewal and a tribute to those who fought and fell — especially children.
Mixed and mastered by Drop RMX at Downtone Studio and EpicAlien, "Under My Pale Skin" delivers four tracks that range from sorrowful cinematic passages to powerful metal energy — a sonic journey that captures the fragility and strength of the human spirit. With “The Last Horizons” and its official video, Alien Orchestra invites listeners to step into a world where sound meets emotion and metal meets infinity.
Tonic Breed, the metal project led by Norwegian musician Patrik K. Svendsen, is set to release its highly anticipated new single, "Anew," on June 19, 2025. This high-octane track features Chris Adler, the iconic drummer of Lamb of God, lending his blistering rhythms to the song. The collaboration is expected to set the metal world on fire as Tonic Breed blends its signature thrash sound with Adler's unmatched drumming prowess. The song was also mixed and mastered by acclaimed producer Machine, who also handled Lamb of God’s "Ashes of the Wake" and "Sacrament".
Chris Adler comments:
“I was quite curious when I got an email — and some riffs — from Patrik. He’s done some cool shit and I was flattered to be on his radar… I researched it for a minute and agreed. We did have to take a minute to both feel good about what this would be — meaning I beat up his song like a fucking Rocky movie — but I knew it had the parts and strength. It’s been a privilege to work with Patrik. Humbling. You’ll know what I mean when you hear it.”
Svendensen adds:
"I originally sent over a rough demo of the song, a storm of riffs strung together with placeholder drums and a suggested structure. We worked together on a new structure for the song, and Chris took the lead on shaping it into something far more unique and effective than my original draft. To me, this is the most Lamb of God-style drumming I’ve heard from Chris since he was in Lamb of God. I’m sure some metal guitarists would kill to hear Chris Adler’s drumming behind their riffs — I’ve been lucky enough to experience that firsthand.”
"Anew" will be available for streaming across all major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, on June 19th, 2025. The release of "Anew" marks a new milestone in the band's career, as they prepare for their upcoming album, which promises more collaborations and even more explosive metal tracks to follow past high-profile collaborations, which already include Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth), Björn Strid (Soilwork), Michael Gilbert (Flotsam and Jetsam).

"This tour was an incredible journey, the longest in our career, and a true milestone for Shores Of Null. As the promotional tour for The Loss Of Beauty, our latest and most acclaimed album to date, it was an honor to bring these songs to life across 35 shows in 18 countries. Sharing the stage with monumental bands like Swallow The Sun and Draconian—huge inspirations for our music—was unforgettable. Despite the melancholy of their sound, they’re some of the most fun and genuine people we’ve met, and by the end of this epic journey, we were proud to call them friends.
We owe special thanks to our incredible crew—Petri, Matti, Mikko, and Tero—who ensured everything ran seamlessly and made this experience unforgettable. To pay homage to this extraordinary chapter, we decided to produce a live album. Recorded during key moments of the tour, it captures the essence of these unforgettable performances and is dedicated to all the people who supported us live and shared these magical moments with us.” - Gabriele Giaccari Davide Straccione adds:
“Our 2023 European tour with Swallow The Sun, Draconian, and Avatarium was one of the most beautiful and intense experiences of my life. Night after night, we poured everything we had into our performances, connecting deeply with audiences across 18 countries. It was a journey that marked a pivotal moment in our career as a band as well, and one we’ll carry with us forever. This live album is our way of preserving and sharing that beauty, not only as a gift to those who joined us in the crowd, but also for those who couldn’t be there to witness it.”

Norway's Tonic Breed, led by one man thrash machine Patrik K. Svendsen, has teamed up with Flotsam and Jetsam guitarist Michael Gilbert for a guest solo on the new single "The Die Is Cast". This is the second collaboration of 2025 by Tonic Breed and follows the previously released track "The Charge" with Darkroot.
Straight to the point. No fluff, no filler, "The Die Is Cast" is pure, hard-hitting thrash from start to finish, with a touch of melody woven in. The song is about a powerful war machine that lies broken and abandoned, surrounded by the wreckage of others like it. Its silence feels heavy, as if it's aware of the destruction it once brought and the emptiness that followed.
Svendsen adds about the track:
"I think the fans are gonna dig this one. Tonic Breed never releases a song that sounds too much like the previous one. Also, with guest appearances, the unique touch on each song is there all the time. I’m super excited about the response from the fans! I went for an ’80s thrash composition on this one! Having Michael on board is an absolute honor, as he was a part of that era and genre of music."
Gilbert comments:
"It was an honor to be asked to do a guest solo appearance with Patrik and Tonic Breed. Some killer heavy music and a pleasure to be a part of. Cheers!"
