  Gearing up for the release of their upcoming EP "Creation's Call", Denver, USA’s Siege Perilous is excited to announce they will perform at their hometown Mile High Power Fest on August 24th where they will be showcasing their new recordings live for fans for the first time!

  Vocalist Shaughnessy McDaniel comments:

  "We couldn't be more excited to really let it all hang out there for Mile High Power Fest. From opening the festival, our state's first dedicated power metal festival, to releasing our new EP "Creation's Call" August 23rd and 24th are the two biggest days in our band's history so far and we are so excited"

  Denver's only power metal festival presented by BiteSize Productions, Mile High Power Fest is being hosted at The Oriental Theater with Seven Spires, Aether Realm, Lords of the Trident, Traveler, Judicator, Seizure, Celestial Wizard, AfterTime, Graveshadow, and Starwraith.   Siege Perilous' new EP “Creation’s Call” is centered around epic storytelling even if those tales are somewhat varied. The band wanted the tones and moods to display range in both songwriting and playing while also conveying a cohesive sound and feeling balanced around telling epic fantasy stories.

  They have shared three video singles "Sons of the Verdant ", "Oathsworn" and "Across The Rubicon" to great fanfare. These epic anthems will transport listeners to other worlds and can be heard below at the following links:

• Magic The Gathering Inspired PLANESWALKER (ft. members of Helion Prime, Gloryhammer) Returns With New Video For Single “Compleated”

  Magic the Gathering-inspired Power Metal band Planeswalker (ft. members of Helion Prime, Gloryhammer) have returned with their newest single “Compleated”. This single tells the story of the Father of Machines - Yawgmoth and about his departure from the Thran empire and becoming the ruler of Phyrexia, as well as his experiments with flesh and machine.

  Musically we see a darker turn to naturally fit the theme of the song. Complex riffs and soaring vocals are nothing new with Jason Ashcraft (Helion Prime) and Sozos Michael (Gloryhammer). The pair is joined by Carlos Alvarez (ex-Power Theory, Behölder, Shadowdance) on bass and Stefanos Meletiou (The Zilla Project, Private Garden) on drums this time around and the two helped bring the big bombastic sound to this song.

  Jason Ashcraft comments:

  "I’m stoked to get some new Planeswalker material out into the world. This stand-alone single serves as a slight hint of what’s to come. We are working on a second album but have no immediate details on it just yet, but we hope this little slice can hold people over. I was also excited to contribute to writing this time around and I think this is a could example of what can be expected to come when Sozos and I riff together!"

  Sozos Michael adds:

  "Planeswalker is back! We took our time with this one but I'm excited to share our new song with everyone. This one is about one of MTG's big baddies, and I feel that both Jason and I had a strong and unified vision of what this song should sound like given the subject matter. It is a stepping stone to our next album and connected to its story in a way that will be revealed in time. Please enjoy this release while we are hard at work on PW2!"

  Québec City, Canada’s, Eternal Drak are releasing their fifth black metal album “Imprisoned Souls” this week and they are excited to see fans' reactions to this offering that describes a horror story between thrash, black, and death, and has a twisted concept surrounding the tribulations of trapped spirits and anecdotes from residents of an enchanted place. The band explains further:

  “The process of creating this album was an intense and liberating experience. We delve into the darkness and depth of our souls to give life to a set of songs that reflect our evolution as a band and unbridled passion for the genre. Every riff, every scream, and every note was carefully crafted to convey the raw energy and brutality that characterizes our style. In the studio, we felt like prisoners of our own emotions, but in the end, we managed to free our souls through music.”

  “Imprisoned Souls” is a ten-song horror journey into the darkest depths of extreme metal. Eternal Drak hopes this album catches listeners in a whirlwind of dizzying riffs, frenetic rhythms, and lyrics full of desperation and rebellion. They want everyone who dares to give this a spin to feel the power of thrash black metal in each song and become fully immersed in a state of trance and liberation.

  For Eternal Drak, each album has a different concept, and on this album, most of the lyrics are about experiences lived on an old farm located in Colombia where there was an improvised hospital during a great battle of the War of Independence. Other lyrics are interpretations of what they believe is behind these paranormal stories. Join in the eerie atmosphere that is highly recommended for fans of Watain, Kreator, and Motorhead.

Boasting soaring operatic vocals, DC Cooper (Royal Hunt) shares mic duties with Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery), while prog-rock legend drummer Mark Zonder (Warlord/Fates Warning) lays down his signature inspiring and creative beats. The song incorporates dramatic dystopian symphonic orchestration and merges it with potent melodic guitars.
