  For "Rage Quits" release day, SUPER MONSTER PARTY dropped their new Super Mario-inspired lyric video "Another Castle". After encountering video games and embarking on legendary quests in Permadeath, you as the listener now find yourself put into Mario’s perspective. As you close the door of Doom behind you, with one last life remaining, the gate of another castle opens – but “your princess is not here, she’s in another castle”, and so you begin your search, fighting through lava, silly turtles, and walking shrooms. This vivid storytelling is musically accompanied by an electrifying, tasteful blend of punk rock, power metal, and retro video game themes.

  SUPER MONSTER PARTY is a band for all video game nerds, jump’n’run enthusiasts, metalheads, 90s kids, weirdos, and everyone in between – a metal band that’s all about video games, singing from the heroes or villains introspective point of view. Rocking together since 2020, SUPER MONSTER PARTY have already gathered a lot of XP, having a bunch of achievements under their belt, such as four released albums: Permadeath (2020), SideQuest (2021), Game Genie (2023), and Up, Up, Down, Die (2023). The band is the concept of Singer/Songwriter Rei Sega, and features notable members Emilio Martinez (Yngwie Malmsteen) on bass, Fern Lemus (Lions at the Gate) on the drums, Andy Alvarez (Irras One) on rhythm guitar, and Oleh Andrievsky as lead guitarist.

  Their intense, melodic, catchy, and heavy sound shows influences of The Misfits, Rhapsody, Slipknot, NOFX, and Van Halen. The variety of different influences and genres, worshiped by the band, means that they are able to find the right metal sound for all game themes – each video game universe is authentically set to music, while the skills of the masterful musical chameleon that is SUPER MONSTER PARTY cannot be pinned down to one genre.   Canadian demolition thrash crew MUTANK will be unravelling their newest collection of bangers and first taste of new neck-breaking tunes in seven years with their new album "Think Before You Think" once again on Boonsdale Records on November 29th, 2024 to follow 2017's EP "W.H.A.T.S.T.H.A.T.".

  Featuring ten volcanic thrash tracks to blaze a new path to jackhammer a pure audio assault. Live favourites such as "Running Reds", "Abortron", and "Thrash Primordial" are sure to please die-hard fans for easy repeat listens.

  "This is Thrash for Metalheads by Metalheads we evolved from crossover to a more refined thrash band with longer and more intricate songs… The level of seriousness in songwriting is evident in the new album. We want this album to energize people and make them feel the way we do when we listen to some of our favourite artists. This album is the most material we have ever put out! 50 minutes of pure metal across 10 tracks. The songs picked themselves as we kept writing tracks we enjoyed playing.”

  Today, MUTANK is ready to unveil their album opener and psychedelic monster brigade video "Illuminatus". The band explains further:

  "This intro track sets the tone for the album with its strong riffs and songwriting to continue the MUTANK tradition of elaborate riffs and ripping solos! Lyrically Illuminatus (which gets its title from the 1975 novel) is about power and how it takes the souls of those that desire it the most.”

  With a passion for classic thrash and a desire to play radical riffs, MUTANK made a deservedly big splash on the Canadian metal scene with their debut EP "M.E.C.H METAL" and a performance at Wacken Open Air after being declared champions of the 2014 Wacken Metal Battle Canada competition.

  Fans of hard-hitting melodic death metal are in for a treat as Germany's Mindreaper gears up to premiere their latest music video “The God I Am”. This visual spectacle serves as a powerful prelude to their highly anticipated album “Withering Shine (...Into Oblivion)” set to drop on December 2nd, 2024 via Death Age Records.

  “Withering Shine (...Into Oblivion)” stands as Mindreaper's magnum opus, seamlessly blending traditional elements with modern symphonic touches to create a unique sonic landscape.   Hailing from Syracuse, NY, veteran hardcore/metal band FREYA's drummer Ethan Henry is unleashing his inner horror fan by inviting fans to view his haunting independent movie "Severance Mountain", which he directed, wrote, produced, edited, and composed music for with his team at Ignorant Tourist Productions.

  In the movie's premise, deep in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York, Sarah (Nicole Morgan) and Toby (Cade Guillory) plan to reconnect on a remote camping trip following the tragic loss of Toby's girlfriend. It doesn't take long for Sarah to realize something is off and her long-awaited getaway turns into a vacation from hell. Meanwhile, Local police Sergeant "Sarge" (Kim Scharff Snyder) discovers a potential threat to all who enter the parks and Desperately pleads to her superiors to take action and warn the public of this "threat". Meanwhile, With each step she takes deeper into the forest, Sarah finds herself in the ultimate struggle to survive against the threats of SEVERANCE MOUNTAIN.

  "SEVERANCE MOUNTAIN came to life shortly after the pandemic. With all the restrictions and difficulties trying to make a film during that time, we wanted to get back at it but needed to keep our budget small and keep our cast and crew down to a minimum. Thanks to John Sovi II at Sovs Media for sparking the idea, I developed the concept for Severance Mountain with our restrictions in mind. I ended up rewriting the working script with Melissa Godin Hunt and started planning to film our independent, ultra-low-budget horror film. Even though our budget was small and it seemed near impossible to make at times, our determination to complete the film and make something we thought would be gross, familiar, and entertaining finally came to be. If you like indie horror, gore, and practical effects, then SEVERANCE MOUNTAIN is for you."
