  • LITTLE KING Reveals First Single "Catch and Release" From 8th Studio Album "Lente Viviente" Out Sept 2025

Tucson, AZ's Little King is thrilled to share fresh details about their upcoming 8th studio album, "Lente Viviente, set for release on Friday, September 26, 2025. The record features seven new micro-epics of progressive and hard rock with hooks and strong melodies. Each song is essentially complex and involved, but comes in under 4 minutes, except “Pass Through Filters.” At the same time, the complexity gives way to space and breath…the push and pull of each song works in a way to bring the listener back again and again for a full audio experience. These songs make you think, make you bob your head, and hopefully make you hit the ”Add to Library” button!

"I think this will be BY FAR our biggest release. The playing, songwriting, and production are our greatest accomplishments. New players on drums and bass, plus a new studio, have really elevated this project. I want people to take a short, mind-blowing journey…like Musical DMT. We are aiming to hit all the notes and emotions…the dynamic range of this record will push and pull from the first note to the last," adds Ryan Rosoff (Guitar, Vocals).

Lyrically, "Lente Viviente" (Spanish for “Living Lens,” a play on Rosoff’s Video Memoir production company, LivingLens Memoirs) explores the delicate dance between memory and presence, perception and truth. The songs span a wide emotional arc—from reflections on childhood and lasting friendship (“Catch and Release,” “Dawn Villa”) to meditations on immigration and identity (“Who’s Illegal?”), aging and addiction (“Pass Through Filters”), and the blurred line between strength and vulnerability (“Kindness for Weakness”). At its core, the album asks how we see ourselves—and each other—through the ever-shifting lens of time, emotion, and experience. Tied together by dynamic arrangements and textured performances, "Lente Viviente" is both personal and universal, an honest portrait of life’s sharp edges and soft light.

Lente Viviente was recorded from April to June 2025, at Cimamusic in Tucson, AZ, by Ricky Wascher Tavares, making it the first Little King record to be tracked outside of Texas. The album was mixed in July of 2025 at Command Space Audio in Los Angeles by Daniel Salcido, who also mixed Amuse De Q in 2021 and the recent singles “Amber Waves GoodBye” and “Silver Tongue” (both from 2023). The record was then mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering.

Today, the band unveils their first single, “Catch and Release”, a nostalgic trip down the Yellowstone River and back in time to a place under the Big Sky that remains etched in our memories.

    Rosoff explains the track:

"I grew up fly fishing in Montana and Northern California with my dad, grandfather, and brother. It was a special time, and the metaphors for light and reflection are strong in this song. ("Polarized," for example, refers to glasses that allow one to see underwater, making it easier to see a trout coming from the deep to slurp a dry fly.) For my birthday last year, I went fishing on the Yakima River with my dad ("Len," also a play on the word "lens," apropos of everything). It brought back a flood of memories and the realization that I am so much happier on a river with my dad (or, as I sing in the song, my son and daughter, who both love to fly fish but don't get to do it often.) But the overall sentiment of the tune is a reflection on fishing with my dad and how much I prefer that to, say, city life. Other references include "Ten and Two," "False Casting," "Bigger Sky" (Montana is known as "Big Sky Country"), and on and on..."

  • VISITANT Unveils Mesmerizing Music Video “Briars” + Michigan Metal Fest + "In the Wake of Flame Tour" (FL/GA/TN/SC/NC) w/ IATT

With their debut album “Rubidium” just weeks away from being unleashed on Exitus Stratagem Records on August 22, 2025, blackened death metal collective Visitant presents their third and final pre-release single “Briars” accompanied by a beautiful music video that visualizes the band's immersive dreamscapes. This composition serves as a powerful statement piece, showcasing the full scope of Visitant's ability to craft ritualistic soundscapes that are both aggressive and ethereal. As they put it, “such a beautiful representation of what is to come.”

The story of a man who, after realizing he’s died, pleads that it wasn’t his time yet, and as his pleas fall on non-existent ears, he comes to discover that everyone will be forgotten in the end. “Briars” exemplifies the band's commitment to creating tasteful juxtapositions between the visceral and the beautiful. The track features the collaborative genius that has defined Visitant's approach: Taylor Tidwell's intricate guitar work, Anthony Lusk-Simone's orchestral arrangements and powerful drumming, Kilian Duarte's prominent bass lines that intensify the forward-pushing experience, and Chelsea Marrow's commanding vocal performance that channels personal experiences transformed into ghost stories.

The single arrives as Visitant prepares for their live debut at Michigan Metal Fest on August 23rd and "In the Wake of Flame Tour" with Philadelphia’s alchemical blackened death metal force IATT (dates listed below), where they will bring their haunting world to life with what they envision as an intense live experience featuring ‘muted dingy lighting and old house vibes’ that match the atmosphere of their music.

Visitant has created a debut album that promises to resonate with listeners for years to come. They are recommended listening for fans of Opeth, Naglfar, and Between the Buried and Me.

Thomas Weidick, on guitar, recently joined their live lineup this past June.

  • THIRTEEN GOATS' New Music Video Invites Fans To Their "Animal Kingdom" Ahead of Festival Blitz at Loud As Hell, Mosh Rock, Party in the Park

Set to kick off their festival blitz with their first performance on August 3rd at Loud As Hell Open Air in Drumheller, AB alongside Revocation, Insurrection, Gorepig, Cyborg Octopus, Squidhammer, Beguiler, and lots more, Vancouver’s genre-bending metal juggernaut Thirteen Goats is welcoming fans to enter their "Animal Kingdom" with their latest music video featuring guest vocals from Carly Ellen Jones.

The closing track from the band's latest album, "Capricorn Rising" (released in July 2024 via Exitus Stratagem Records), "Animal Kingdom" is the biggest musical risk that the band has taken yet. It starts out with an unsettling pattern of clean, arpeggiated chords, before a wall of cascading guitar melodies and haunting clean vocals crash in for the verses.

From there, ominous grooves and wailing leads build up to a cathartic duet between Jones and lead singer Graham K. Miles, which shifts into a ferociously heavy climax and an angular final riff that terminates in a single bass note reminiscent of an atomic bomb going off. Not only is it a fitting conclusion to the record, but it’s a sign of how the band’s sound will likely continue to evolve on future releases.

The music video shows the band members performing a summoning ritual that ends with them falling under the spell of the demon they conjured (played by Jones).

“It's classic be-careful-what-you-wish-for stuff,” says Miles. “In that sense, it’s thematically true to the subject matter of the song, which is a warning about the seductive appeal of extremist movements and the consequences of becoming radicalized.”

Miles, who also directed the video, said he was heavily inspired by the works of filmmaker David Lynch, who passed away in early 2025. “His art was fantastical and surreal,” Miles says, “but it was always about real and contemporary issues under the surface. We’re aiming in the same direction with this video and this record.”

Watch and listen to "Animal Kingdom" (feat. Carly Ellen Jones) via its premiere on Bravewords HERE.

In addition to performing this week at Loud As Hell Open Air, Thirteen Goats will also be in Sooke, BC on August 10th at MOSH THE ROCK and Fort McMurray, AB on Sept 13th for the 3rd edition of Party in the Park.

    Show Dates:
Aug 3 - Loud As Hell Open Air – Drumheller, AB - https://loudashell.ca/
    Aug 10 - MOSH THE ROCK – Sooke, BC - https://www.facebook.com/events/1932051257598357
    Sept 13 - Party in the Park 3 – Fort McMurray, AB - https://lnk.bio/partyintheparkfestYMM

In additional news, Thirteen Goats have also been nominated by the Western Canadian Music Awards (
https://breakoutwest.ca/awards) for Metal & Hard Music Artist of the Year alongside Anciients, Torrefy, Art of Attrition, and Holy Void.

Known for their punishing live shows, razor-sharp riffs, and tongue-in-cheek lyrical savagery, Thirteen Goats have carved out a unique niche by fusing numerous metal subgenres and delivering the results with a theatrical twist. The quartet unleashed their sophomore LP "Capricorn Rising" in July 2024 via Exitus Stratagem Records. The concept album tells the story of their mascot, Shepherd: a goat-skull-wearing Antichrist who raises an army of animals to liberate the earth from humanity’s constant wars and greed.

Each song on the record is part of a broader narrative that explores themes of disillusionment, radicalization, and rebellion as Shepherd and his 12 demon goats wage their crusade. This storytelling approach takes listeners on a journey through the darkest aspects of both human and animal nature across nine tracks that combine elements of death metal, thrash, and groove.

Listeners should expect furious riffage, ambitious song structures, and even occasional female guest vocals (courtesy of guest artist Carly Ellen Jones). What they shouldn’t expect is a record that plays it safe or falls neatly into one specific subgenre. Thirteen Goats is recommended for fans of Lamb of God, Carcass, and Mastodon.

Released on July 12, 2024, “Capricorn Rising” is available from Exitus Stratagem Records at https://www.exsrmusic.com/store/p/pre-sale-thirteen-goats-capricorn-rising

  • THE BLOODY HELL Unveil New Single “Are You Happy?” Ahead of Third Album "Blood Code"

Halifax, Canada's unrelenting punk-infused hard rock outfit, The Bloody Hell, continues its sonic evolution with the explosive release of their second single, “Are You Happy?”, a searing preview from their highly anticipated third album "Blood Code", slated to drop Fall 2025.

Following the success of their raw and furious sophomore record "Nobody Cares"“Are You Happy?” turns towards heavier ground. The track is fast paced and hard hitting, driven by an earworm guitar riff with explodes into an off time rhythmic assault, while the raw and gritty vocal tells a story of the high and lows of a toxic relationship, and the lesson learned by a letting go ultimately ending in self reflection, and that oh so very important question - Are You Happy?.

"Are You Happy? is the second single off the upcoming third album from The Bloody Hell, which is slated for release in the fall of 2025. The video is compiled of in-studio footage of the band's recording sessions, coupled with live footage from a string of shows played in 2024. Musically, the track is a big step forward in our songwriting approach, showcasing how our two new members have enhanced and morphed our sound, with this song bordering on hard rock, even slightly prog in the breakdown section. The majority of our previous releases have always been more straightforward, more fast-paced, and more punk rock, so it is exciting to step outside that "box" and let the song venture into places we've yet to explore. Also interesting to see how the public will receive this, we feel it's one of our strongest singles yet, but we'll let the audience be the judge, let us know .....Are You Happy?" adds Ian Kean Vocals.

Accompanying the single is a new music video, splicing together in-studio recording sessions with electrifying live clips from a 2024 performance. It has a visual reflection of the band's metamorphosis and has a teaser for what's to come.

  • New York Thrash QUEMASANTOS Channels Loss From Cancer Into Lyrical Fury with “Burning the Black”

New York thrash QUEMASANTOS is turning up the heat with their scorching new lyric video 'Burning the Black', a vision accumulated through time turned into a metal track that was born from grief, rage, and love. It emerged from the pain of witnessing cancer’s devastating impact.

"In the past, vocalist Nelson Diaz has always come up with the concepts for the music they’ve been writing. This time, I asked him to work under my concept, which was based on what I was experiencing at the time (which was during the time before my wife’s passing). He kindly agreed to do it, and I’m just happy with the way he performed and used all the material I gave him. He’s a true friend and a master of metal interpretation. I love him," adds Ignacio Orellana (Bass/Guitars/Drums).

'Burning the Black' is an analogy to the process of receiving chemotherapy, which burns the cancer cells in the body. The concept for the track came to Ignacio Orellana while watching his wife fight cancer for six years, which tragically ended with her dramatic death. The lyrics are narrated from the perspective of death, constantly reminding you that it will take you and that no matter what you do, it’s inevitable. The music encapsulates the life cycle of a person, beginning with the gradual and transformative changes life brings and concluding in a manner reminiscent of its inception.

"On a personal note, this has been a brutal and devastating time, as well as strange to lose my life partner of 31 years. It still feels unreal. This song is essentially what I can translate from the experience of being there next to her and witnessing her decline from good to bad. I genuinely hope that people can understand it the way I’m trying to convey it. I loved my wife, and she will always be with me," says Orellana.

Quemasantos is Nelson Diaz (singer and concepts) & Ignacio Orellana (bass/guitar/drums).

The guest musician for this track was Felipe Roa, the lead guitarist for metal bands Acaro and Shadows Fall (touring member). With extensive studio recording and touring experience, Roa has also owned and operated Boston Guitar Tech, providing professional services such as guitar setups, fretwork, electronics, and online and in-person lessons.

Vocal tracks recorded at Studios Ultrasonico, Santiago, Chile.
Felipe Roa's tracks were recorded at his studio.
Mixed and mastered at Oily Sound Studios in New York City by Ignacio Orellana.
