Playing and recording Seth is fun and demanding. It was important to put weight and heaviness into the riff while also not forgetting the chunky dead notes. For the verse and chorus I emphasized on keeping the bass line flowing and be the solid foundation of the band sound and groove. In the bridge/guitar solo I composed the bass part to be a counter part to the guitar melody and accentuating the color of the chords with bigger intervals going up the neck ending on a high note in harmony with the guitar.
The Bass is tuned half step down Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb.
