  Releasing their debut album "Ways To Hate" this past November, Ohio alternative metal quintet Yesterday's Hero has a new music video to share for the title track. The song is groovy and gives you no choice but to headbang along. The theme of the video was all the "Ways to Hate" that have been thrown upon people through politics, religion, and social media.

  Yesterday's Hero's first full-length "Ways To Hate" features seven hard-knocking tracks that take listeners through the emotions of a struggling bleeding heart at the end of a tumultuous relationship. Musically, it's a fusion of high-energy grooves with timeless melodies to get your blood pumping and moshing in the pit.

  In a digital age of singles, Yesterday's Hero went analog for this record as they would like those listening to experience each track finishing and ready for the next. The tracklisting was arranged in an order specifically to create a feel of an album experience, not just one single.

  "We pride ourselves on using raw gritty tube amps, no backing tracks or plug-ins. There is no need for a laptop as we intentionally step back from today's norm.   Never Elected, a deadly grungy rock group from Washington DC, USA has recently re-released their album “Turbulence” this past April and are stoked about the reception that they’ve gotten so far from it. Now they have a music video for the single “Hate Breeds Hate” that shows off their proactive politically charged lyrics and grungy rock riffs. Reflecting on the band's journey, Altan Aydin shares:

  “Somewhere between hard rock from the late 80s and the early 90s grunge era, our music delves into the turbulent times of our vocalist's life. The reactions from our live performances range from pure exhilaration to deep emotional resonance, a testament to the raw honesty embedded within our songs.”

  Formed by Sujit Kumar and Altan Aydin, both fueled by a shared passion for grunge and rock n' roll, Never Elected has evolved into a powerhouse ensemble with Dr. T's melodic bass riffs and Wesley Meyer's driving force on drums. Despite facing challenges brought on by the pandemic, the band persevered, showcasing their resilience by recording and releasing two singles/music videos during this unprecedented time.

  Progressive rock band Shumaun, from Virginia, USA is thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated introspective fourth album “Opposing Mirrors”. This new album is chock full of the band's signature blend of melodic, progressive, and accessible rock driven by Farhad Hossain. Featuring a stellar lineup of drummers, including Thomas Lang, Leo Margarit (Pain of Salvation), and Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats), the album is set to be a landmark release in Shumaun's career. Hossain comments on the album:

  “The album is intended to be listened to sequentially, although there are standout singles dispersed throughout. There’s a natural flow between the songs, and the lyrics contribute to a conceptual feel. In essence, the album is kind of conceptual, and the title, “Opposing Mirrors” encapsulates this theme perfectly.   VICOLO INFERNO, one of the latest signings for Rockshots Records roster is proud to release their third studio album "Circles" today. Instinctive, energetic, melodic, dark, and intense, "Circles" is the quartet's most mature and experimental recording to date.

  "Circles" like its predecessor dances among various colors of the soul, from the most intimate and convoluted to the angry, to the amused and ironic. The track listing was chosen to guide the listener through a journey. The writing process for this record has been consolidated for years, although somewhat against the current.

  "We are "romantic supporters" of songwriting in the rehearsal room. We always start from a vocal line or a guitar riff, and if there is inspiration, the first version is laid down, which is then refined and shaped over time like a piece of wood by a sculptor." says the band. "It is said that the third album is canonically the one of awareness; it is certainly the one in which we put more care into arranging the songs, where we experimented with some stylistic figures never used by us before, both in music and in singing. For once, we would like to venture to say that we think it is our best album (although it is always difficult to say which child you love most) for ideas and execution, but as always, the hope is to reach the audience, which will be the judge in deciding whether our feelings hit the mark or not."

  The band describes this new single "Suspended" as a social critique stating that "The attention span of society for any content or experience is just a few seconds but our stories are too complex to be summarized in a few words." ​
