  Genre-defying metal NYC outfit ARC is sharing a tour recap video from their two support show dates with Visions of Atlantis at the beginning of April in Mechanicsburg, PA, and Brooklyn, NY.

  ​ARC is also sharing with fans its latest lyric video, "Magnitudes," in support of its latest EP, “Awaken The Machine”. The track speaks about the part of your brain that shuts everything off so you can conquer anything.

• RED CAIN Drops New Single "FWAB" (Fire, Water, Air, Blood) Ahead of Hyperspace Metal Fest Performance!

  Set to perform at this year's Hyperspace Metal Festival in Vancouver, BC on April 10th, power prog storytellers RED CAIN are unveiling their new single "FWAB" (Fire Water, Air, Blood). With its heavy balalaika breakdown, downtuned heavy riffs, and soaring harmonized choruses among atmospheric industrial synth backing, "FWAB" hits hard and never lets go - a primeval ritual chant in front of cold stone, on a frozen steppe, among howling winds.

  The band explains the story of the track in further detail:

  "In the frozen Eastern European steppes, there stood a fell ancient god. Every ill word fed him, and every ill deed made him more potent. For millennia, he grew strong through kingship over mortal ill will, suffering, and pride, until his nourishment took a new form, unable to feed or strengthen. Without nourishment, the god was powerless, and without power, he slept. After millennia, fed full by ill words and ill deeds, searching for an awakening, the god demands the symbols of his power: Fire, Water, Air, Blood. Join the ritual sacrament of Chernobog. With this new release, the Slavic pagan ritual to call forth the "Black God" takes flight, asking the listener what they would be willing to change their fate."

  Red Cain, from Calgary, Canada, is a modern progressive metal project with Eastern European roots. They have been making waves since their first release in 2016, with award-winning music videos and concept albums “Kindred: Act I”, “Kindred: Act II,” and "NÄE'BLISS". The albums contained a ton of genre inspirations, from gothic rock to ambient electronica, power, black, and death metal, and were universally lauded for their inventiveness, variety, and strong conceptual content. • Newfoundland Duo ARTACH Put A Black Metal Tinge On Industrial w/ New Video "Frozen Factory" Off EP "Sgrios" Out July 2024

  From the frost-bitten depths of Newfoundland, Canada, black metal duo ARTACH return this summer to present their experimental side with their latest EP "Sgrios" out this July 2024, which will later be followed by a third full-length this coming Fall (to be released on vinyl via Adirondack Black Mass), and will once again feature their signature sound.

  The upcoming EP "Sgrios" might surprise some listeners as the band took on an experimental direction to incorporate more industrial metal sounds. Bands like Rammstein, Fear Factory, and Pain for example. However, it’s still them and still has all the elements from their previous releases.

  For the "Sgrios" EP, the black metal spin on industrial metal is a mash of styles that the duo hadn’t heard much of and felt was something fresh and original.

  "Not a ton of Black Metal bands will have Rammstein-esque synth guitar sounds, tremolo-picked riffs, and harsh black metal vocals. We talked about doing this “industrial-styled” 4 song EP to keep active and experiment ahead of the release of our 3rd full-length in the fall of 2024. At first, we thought about calling it a different project name, but quickly realized we could and would make it close enough to the Artach style to keep the name. You will hear industrial metal through the Artach blackened-thrash lens." adds Sruthán (Guitar/Bass).

  Lyrically, the topics explored on the "Sgrios" EP cover technology, apocalyptic themes, and some tongue-in-cheek suggestive topics ('Sgrios" translates to English as destroy, ruin, ravage, annihilate, etc.). The "Sgrios" cover artwork has the duo in robot form in a frozen industrial wasteland. It fits with the lyrical topics for the EP perfectly.

  Today, the band shares their lead single off the EP entitled "Frozen Factory", a track about environmental collapse due to greed.

  "We chose this one as it serves as a bridge between what you’ve come to know Artach for and the other songs on the EP. It was the last song written for this EP. When we were doing the others, which had more synth-sounding guitars etc, we thought we needed something heavier so taking inspiration from some bands like Fear Factory, etc we crafted an Artach take on that side of industrial metal." says Sruthán (Guitar/Bass)
