  Narcotic Wasteland, fronted by ex-Nile guitarist/vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade along with drummer Joseph Howard (Fields of Elysium), Neuromorphic) and bassist Kenji Tsunami (Ontogeny), will be hitting the road with Long Island, NY old school death metallers Pyrexia for the "Cemetery Slam Tour" from November 15th to 23rd. Narcotic Wasteland will also perform at this year's SwarmFest in Tampa Bay, FL following the tour (dates listed below).

  In additional news, the trio unveiled their new music video for the single "Barbarian" this past September and will be featured on their forthcoming album "Digital Cordyceps" out on Megaforce Records (release date TBD) to follow their 2017 breakout sophomore album "Delirium Tremens".

  "For me, Barbarian is a prime example of me doing the thing I love and that defines me the most. Continuously striving to improve my craft as a musician and a songwriter. But also the overall message of this song. Live!!! Be free!!! Find your own path!!! Question everything!!! And also we don't need politicians or religion to shape our moral centers. In fact, It seems they distort the truth every chance they get. This whole album cycle has seemed to have this recurring theme about the narcissistic oligarchy that we have all fallen victim to.   One year after their last release, Embryo are back with a completely renewed line-up and a brand-new single called "The Rise To Self-Demise" that marks a new chapter in their career. The band comments:

  Additionally, on November 29th, 2024, the long-awaited vinyl release of their critically acclaimed album "A Vivid Shade On Misery" which featured the legendary George Kollias (Nile) on drums. Tracks like "Pride", "Highest Frame" and "Darkest Lights" were highly praised by both fans and critics, solidifying Embryo’s place among the most innovative bands in the metal scene. The vinyl version will be issued on 250 copies, 150 on vinyl total black and the others 100 copies on red vinyl.

  ​Ancient Entities, coming from Milwaukee, USA, are pleased to announce the release of their debut album “Echoes Of Annihilation” on WormHolDeath Records. The nine-track album is a mythical sonic odyssey with each song offering a unique glimpse into the past. From the burning of Rome in “Empire In Ashes” to the creation of the human race in “Creatures Of the Sand”, Ancient Entities masterfully capture the essence of ancient history through sound. They comment on the recording process:

  “The album took 6 months to produce, mix, and master. The legendary Wjotec Wieslawski from Hertz Recording made sure we got our best work on track and did not compromise when it came to making a perfect album. We recorded here in the States at multiple studios and Hertz mixed and mastered the album. We wanted to work with Wjotec ‘cause he produced some of our favorite bands growing up such as Behemoth, Decapitated, and Hate. In our opinion, he helped create a masterpiece of an album and we hope everyone else thinks so too.”

  The album artwork was made by Burns who handles most of the artwork for the band. It combines different pyramids that are cinematic, but still very obvious that this is a death metal; album. Listeners who dig into the album will find there is a refreshing mix of styles of death metal - modern, old school, and some sounds in between genres. Over the last two years of playing and testing out local markets, Ancient Entities is confident that their massive sound will be well received by all fans of metal old and new. They are recommended listening for fans of Blood Red Throne, Nile, and Aeon.

  Kicking off their 2024 Summer tour dates on May 31st that are in honor of guitarist Dallas Toler Wade's 50th birthday and the 10th anniversary of Narcotic Wasteland's self-titled debut album, the trio is unshackling their latest single "Barbarian" for the masses. The song will be featured on the band's forthcoming third full-length "Digital Cordyceps" out on Megaforce Records in 2024 (release date TBD).

  Dallas Toler-Wade comments on the new track:

  "Barbarian is one of my favorite songs I have written so far. The guitar work is thrashy but also has a neo-classical element to it. I love the mid-tempo churning bass drums that is no secret at this point. Lyrically the song is about my personal feelings on how I want to live my life, but also an observation of what is going on in the world right now. I am sure I am not the only one who sees we are living in an oligarchic society. Meaning we are in a society where only a chosen few have most of the political power. This has always disgusted me. I never needed a political leader or organized religion to tell me how to act, what to read or listen to, and who to vote for. I think it is all complete self-serving bullshit and I refuse to have any part in it. I am barbaric. I follow no rules but my own. I refuse to participate in a society that is untrustworthy, narcissistic, and completely selfish. So I choose a more nomadic life as far away as possible from all of the madness. I am here to entertain. It is my calling. I hope you enjoy the song!!!!! Thanks to all of the fans for your continued support and inspiration!!! Let's rise above and take our freedom back!!!!!"
