  "Nothing More" is the opener of the album and since the beginning, it's a very groovy track with an unstoppable chorus and covered with wah wha here, marking a turning point in their career and showing a more mature and varied sound than the previous ones indeed!

  One year after their last release, Embryo are back with a completely renewed line-up and a brand-new single called "The Rise To Self-Demise" that marks a new chapter in their career. The band comments:

Musically and lyrically, the song is the conclusion of the concept included in "A Vivid Shade On Misery" showing the last days of Caravaggio’s life and some reflections about them and about the choices he made until then.   Additionally, on November 29th, 2024, the long-awaited vinyl release of their critically acclaimed album "A Vivid Shade On Misery" which featured the legendary George Kollias (Nile) on drums. Tracks like "Pride", "Highest Frame" and "Darkest Lights" were highly praised by both fans and critics, solidifying Embryo’s place among the most innovative bands in the metal scene. The vinyl version will be issued on 250 copies, 150 on vinyl total black and the others 100 copies on red vinyl.
