  Kratornas has released the official lyric video for “Ravaged by Hurakaan”, the third track from the upcoming full-length album “God of the Tribes”, set for release on August 22, 2025, through Grathila Records. Following the successful limited releases of the “Ravaged by Hurakaan” vinyl demo and remix cassette last month, this lyric video presents the full album version of the track for the first time. At seven minutes, the song demonstrates the new direction Kratornas has taken, focusing on atmosphere, tension, and ritualistic elements rather than the blistering speed of earlier works. Kratornas comments on the single:

  “This album marks a turning point for Kratornas. The first 15 years were deprived years. Not of ideas, but of the equipment to record them. That’s why I was stuck with simplicity, but it was never the plan. Now I have everything I need to get THAT sound. This album isn’t about being ‘advanced’ or ‘innovative’, it’s a return to roots, distilled into something raw and real.”

  The lyric video offers fans their first look at the complete lyrics, which have been described as ‘thick with metaphors, open to many interpretations’.   Brazilian extreme metal outfit Ophiolatry has released a new music video, “Death Tour”, the first single from their upcoming album “Serpent's Verdict”, due June 6, 2025, via Wormholedeath Records. This latest visual offering is inspired by Greek mythology, depicting the journey of a fallen warrior's soul through the realm of death. As the spirit is carried across the River Styx, it approaches the gates of Hades, where the warrior's tribe awaits his arrival, welcoming him into the afterlife. They comment further on the single and the video:

  "The warrior perished, part of his body bathed in the blood of the unworthy. He doesn't beg. He doesn't hesitate. The ancestors whisper his name as his spirit ascends, enveloped in the smoke of rituals. The witches dance around the burning fire, invoking Charon's presence.   Texas, USA’s death metal powerhouse Abolishment of Flesh is unshackling their latest music video for their track "Hater of Man" off their latest EP “Resurrecting Misanthropy”, released in 2023 via Blood Bast Distribution.

  A relentless barrage of guttural death metal to knock you off your feet, the song is about a child in the womb who senses the rejection and hatred of a drug addict mother. This child grows to become disassociated with society and reality. In the end, the person is consumed with hate for themselves and everyone around them.

  Vocalist and Guitarist comments:

  "This was another one I wrote almost 10 years ago. The part after the solo was rewritten and re-arranged. The older version was old-school death metal so I wanted to modernize it in a sense. I think it turned out nicely and the riffs are really fun to play."
