  • Metal From Reunion Island - LOMOR Unveils Single “Tantine Lo Clou” From New Album "Sabouk Rouge" Out Feb 2026

After the intensity of their latest single “Panzram”, Reunion Island’s thrash metal power trio Lomor return with the official music video for “Tantine Lo Clou”, a new track taken from their upcoming album "Sabouk Rouge", out February 2026 via Rockshots Records.

Based on a bizarre real-life episode during the band’s French tour in 2023, “Tantine Lo Clou” turns an awkward and hilarious backstage encounter into a wild burst of energy, carried by razor-sharp riffs, frantic rhythms and Lomor’s trademark blend of old-school thrash, punk aggression and Creole attitude. The track showcases the band’s ability to shift seamlessly from dark, violent themes to irreverent storytelling without ever losing momentum.

Musically, the song embodies the raw, unfiltered nature of Lomor’s sound: fast, abrasive guitar work from Eric Castelnau, the pounding precision of Gurvan Cambrai on drums and the tight, overdriven low end of Mathieu “Micha” Michalina on bass guitar. Lyrically, it stands as one of the most humorous and off-beat moments on "Sabouk Rouge" offering listeners a brief escape before the album dives back into heavier topics such as hatred, madness, slavery and human cruelty.

Like the rest of the album, “Tantine Lo Clou” was produced by Lomor, recorded and mixed by Sébastien Camhi at Art Music Studio in France and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio in Germany. "Sabouk Rouge" marks the band’s most cohesive and dynamic work to date, pushing their Reunion-born thrash identity into new and sharper territories.

With their authentic old-school spirit, no-click live philosophy and explosive stage presence, Lomor continue to stand out as one of the most unique voices rising from the Indian Ocean’s metal scene.

  • SILAS FERNANDES Unveils New Videos "Earth Was Boring" and "Escape The Reality Room" from Latest Album "Carbon Purge Acceleration"

Photo Credit - Marisa Terra Fernandes

Acclaimed guitarist, producer, and content creator Silas Fernandes (founder of Electric Eye Audio, producer of guitar pedals and digital tools for metal guitarists and creator of the popular YouTube show Rig on Fire) has released two new videos, "Earth was Boring" and "Escape The Reality Room," from his latest album "Carbon Purge Acceleration," which dropped this past September. Known for his fusion of industrial metal, shred guitar, and progressive influences, Fernandes continues to push boundaries with instrumental music that blends aggression, melody, and thought-provoking themes.

Formed out of Fernandes’ departure from a cover band with Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) in the 1980s, his solo career has been defined by innovation and independence. Inspired by legends like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Tony McAlpine, Fernandes has carved out a unique sound described in five words: industrial, shred, instrumental, melodic, metal.

His latest videos reflect Fernandes’ vision of instrumental music as more than just a technical display. "Earth was Boring" is a heavy, aggressive track that fuses modern metal with metalcore elements, climaxing in a melodic shred solo. The video for that track features robotic vocal samples sourced from the Killer Instinct character Fulgor, reversed to create a distinct tone. The video for "Escape The Reality Room" alternates between thrashy modern riffs and calm, melodic passages reminiscent of Joe Satriani, offering listeners a dynamic journey through sound and imagery.

“I hope fans take the titles of each song seriously. Each track was written based on visuals and contemporary matters,” says Fernandes.

Fernandes’ new six-track album "Carbon Purge Acceleration" unfolds as a sonic journey that shifts fluidly from aggressive intensity to ethereal soundscapes. He describes the work as “a true creative cauldron,” blending fusion, modern progressive metal, and nostalgic eighties influences without being confined to genre labels. The album’s artwork reinforces its thematic depth, portraying a divine digital entity revered by worshippers blind to its destructive force, an allegory for the entanglement of technology and chaos in contemporary life. Each track contributes to this layered narrative, "John Hughes Didn’t Direct My Life" channels a nostalgic, 80s-inspired shred; "Flight of the Navigator", surges forward with fast-paced prog metal, fusion harmonies, and daring time signatures; "Heavy Droids" explores the complexity of 7/4 prog metal, weaving in melodic, slow-tempo passages; and "The Death of Synthetic Curation" closes with a haunting solo guitar piece, drenched in ambient effects that linger like echoes of dissolution. Together, these compositions form a bold, genre-defying statement that is both visceral and thought-provoking.

Recommended for fans of Steve Vai, Fear Factory, Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, and Periphery, "Carbon Purge Acceleration" (released Sept 21st, 2025) is available at the following links:

  • GRAVEWITCH Unleashes New Music Video "Mistress of Hate" from Self-Titled Album Out Now!

Extreme metal duo Gravewitch have released their brand-new music video "Mistress Hate," a blistering visual companion to their self-titled album, which dropped this past June via Rock Sun Records. The release marks a defining moment for the band, showcasing their evolution from raw beginnings to a fully realised professional sound.

Formed in 2013 by childhood friends Chris Fleming (guitar/vocals) and Andrew Ingraham (drums), Gravewitch was born out of a shared passion for heavy music and a desire to carve their own path in the underground scene.

“We’ve been best friends since childhood and decided to create Gravewitch when we were sophomores in high school. This band has always been about pushing ourselves creatively and staying true to our vision,” says Fleming.

Fusing elements of Black Metal, Thrash, Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, and Cascadian Black Metal into a sound that is both punishing and atmospheric, Gravewitch is relentless, melodic, heavy, intriguing, and old-school.

Gravewitch’s self-titled album takes listeners on a dark and diverse journey through ten tracks, each with its own distinct theme and musical identity. From the haunting portrayal of early 1900s insane asylums in Damnable Evil to the personal nightmare of sleep paralysis in Phantasm, the band blends thrash, black, and melodic elements with precision. Mistress of Hate revisits the brutality of witch trials, while Ritual Reanimation summons undead armies through thrash-driven intensity. Nature and atmosphere dominate Atmospheric Alterations, contrasting with the chilling true-crime narrative of White City Devil about serial killer H.H. Holmes. Woodland Trance evokes haunted forests with cascadian black metal textures, and Systematic Fallout delivers pure thrash chaos alongside the band’s first-ever guitar solo. War themes emerge in Operation Overlord, immersing listeners in the chaos of D-Day, while The Once Sacred Gift of Life closes the album with grief, mortality, and the origins of Gravewitch’s sound. Together, the record showcases the duo’s ability to fuse extreme metal subgenres into a cohesive yet varied listening experience.

"Written during the chaos of 2020, our self-titled album reflects the uncertainty of the times. We had no idea if these songs were ever going to see the light of day. The chaotic energy of the world matched the diversity of the music, so we embraced different lyrical topics that had nothing to do with each other,” adds Fleming.

The new video "Mistress Hate" captures the raw energy and occult-inspired aesthetic that defines Gravewitch. Filmed in South Wales, United Kingdom by Ritual Video, the clip features the same actress who played “The Witch” in the band’s debut video Circle of Power from their first album "The Summoning."

Recommended for fans of Gravewitch's self-titled album, released on June 18, 2025, via Rock Sun Records, is available on all digital platforms and CD.

  • Brass Metal FALLSTAF Returns w/ New Album "Ode To The Dead"

After nearly ten years away from the spotlight, Montreal’s groundbreaking brass-metal band Fallstaf makes a powerful return with their highly anticipated second album, "Ode to The Dead." Produced by Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope), the full album will be available to stream ahead of its official release on November 14th, premiering exclusively on Hardcore Worldwide’s YouTube channel.

Known for pioneering the genre of brass-infused experimental metal, Fallstaf first made waves in 2011 with their debut album, "Bastard Son of a Pure Breed," also produced by Jardine. Their signature sound, heavy riffs, progressive structures, and a masked trombonist in full suit and tie, earned them cult status in the Montreal metal scene.

But tragedy struck in 2016 when frontman IANN suffered a near-fatal accident, resulting in a coma, multiple injuries, and the loss of his leg. The band dissolved. Now, nearly ten years later, Fallstaf reunites with Jardine to deliver a powerful, deeply personal new record that channels pain, survival, and rebirth.

"Ode to The Dead" is a seven-track exploration of mortality, from personal tragedy and mental anguish to crime, conflict, and loss. Drawing from frontman IANN’s near-death experience and the band’s shared grief, the album is both a tribute and a release.

It opens with “Sunless Friday,” a chilling retelling of IANN’s accident, where cold riffs and screaming trombone set the tone. The title track, “Ode to The Dead,” honors those we’ve lost, echoing the idea that “they walk among us.” “Battered Soul” dives into depression and suicide with sludge-heavy weight and a fading finale. “Kings of the West Side” recounts Montreal’s mafia history with gangland grit and resurrected riffs. “Under the Same Sky” reflects on global unrest and shared humanity, while “Bastard Son” tells a hitman’s legacy through galloping riffs and thrash choruses. The closer, “The Burden,” mourns the toll of cancer with crushing heaviness and a melodic, mournful release. Each track is a raw, brass-laced chapter in Fallstaf’s powerful return.

“We didn’t make this album to impress anyone. We made it out of friendship. Music is therapeutic. Metal brings people together, and we missed that energy,” adds the band.

The album artwork, featuring a layered skull photo taken by IANN, reflects the lyrical darkness without veering into the macabre. It’s a visual metaphor for the band’s rebirth: haunting, honest, and human.

Musically, the band has evolved, embracing groove metal, prog metal, metalcore, and hardcore influences while incorporating melodic choruses and complex arrangements. Fans of Pantera, Shining, Hatebreed, and Mighty Mighty Bosstones will find familiar fire in Fallstaf’s brass-laced fury.

Stay tuned for upcoming live dates and new music. The resurrection has begun as Fallstaf’s live performances are legendary, and the band plans to return to the stage in 2026. Expect suits, ties, a masked brass player, and a frontman with a robotic leg, all delivering a high-energy spectacle that defies expectations.

“People think we’re a ska band until the first chord hits. Then they know we kick ass,” says the band.

"Ode to the Dead" will be available on November 14th, 2025, on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and more. For collectors, grab the exclusive coffin-shaped USB drive packed with interactive content and bonus material.
