Artist Bio: With previous single "Animal Kingdom" going Top 10 in US based 365 Radio’s Network Chart after heavy rotation play, comes Derelict Daydream’s fourth album 'Portrait of a Landscape'.
Featuring the single "Beautiful Silence", 'Portrait of a Landscape' is more of an acoustic rock offering than the alternative metal stylings of previous albums whilst still retaining Derelict Daydream’s trademark blend of hard and melodic with a twist.
The album features eleven new songs ranging from softer numbers such as "Beautiful Silence" and "Somewhere in the Night" to more upbeat titles like "What You Can’t Change (You’ll Learn to Survive)" & "Take the Shot!" as well as darker and more melancholy cuts
like "Killing for a Reason" and "Too Young to Fly" alongside the epic "The Awakening".
Graham Spence the main man behind Derelict Daydream, worked with producer Peter Neal on this latest project which was produced at Oakville Studios in Leeds (UK). Graham also directs his own music videos. The video for ‘Beautiful Silence’ which features a snowscape setting had its post production completed during the first UK Lockdown for Covid 19, earning it the nickname ‘Sno-vid 19’.
The album will be drop digitally via Sony Music / The Orchard and will be available as an iTunes pre-order six weeks before the release hits other stores (Sep 10).
Graham has also previously been hired to perform guitar work on BBC series ‘In the Flesh’ and has had other TV roles including a part in a reconstruction for BBC Crimewatch.
In spite of this, he has still managed to evade arrest for wrongfully impersonating a musician or actor.
