Artist Bio: At around the the time of the third Covid-19 lockdown, we decided to get our heads together and start writing some new material after a very long lay out.
Chris and I had been in a band together over ten years previous and had found ourselves stuck going through the motions in the conditioned world: relationships, jobs, houses and even a ten year boxing career for me.
We are now back here creating for our true love of music and we write music to last.
Legacy is what matters to us. Melodies and good music stay with people and we aren’t writing songs for a 5-minute flavour of the month type of crowd…
Our influences are from the old times and the songs we love still stand up strong in today's world.
2020 was an odd year and situation that we, the people of this world, found ourselves in. I got the writing bug back, and after some talks, Chris and I finally got back together in May 2021, going straight to work on new material. After such a long time off, it was like learning all over again yet it’s been so exciting!
We didn’t plan on “These Times” being the first release…However, my step son had been secretly suffering with his own problems recently and his mental health was deteriorating, leading to an awful event that occurred within our family.
Almost immediately after this happened, the lyrics and melody for the song came to me like a gift. Chris and I tweaked the music and my intuition told me I had to get this song finished, recorded and released first and soon! We did just that and the feedback has been nothing but fantastic. We are now on a roll and are back in the studio very soon to start work.
Rendered are brand new to the scene, but we are from an old school background and admittedly this world of social media is new and a little alien to us.
We believe we have good solid music, true genuine beliefs and every intention of recording the best album of the last twenty years.
We have a very talented sound engineer and producer onboard to bring to light what has been locked inside our minds.
Now is our time and the music will speak for itself.
