Finnish melodic death metal band INFINITE CHAOS have shared a music video for their latest single, “Accursed To The Bone.” The announcement identifies the track as the first song from studio sessions that began in April 2026 and gives its release date as August 19, without specifying a year.

Produced by Mikko Herranen at Noise Floor Studio in Helsinki, the single explores overthinking and the feeling of being trapped inside one’s own head. The press announcement describes aggressive thrash riffing alongside contrasting clean and harsh vocals. It also reports that several more tracks are written and ready to record.

INFINITE CHAOS began in 2023 with guitarist Jari Parkkinen, vocalist Mika Kanerva and drummer Markus Halmetoja. The founding trio brought together members spanning three different decades of life experience and drawing on different metal influences and perspectives.

Following a year of weekly songwriting, the trio recorded five tracks in spring 2024: “Parasite,” “The Existing Dimensions,” “W.O.C.,” “For The Resistance” and a cover of Papa Roach’s “Blood Brothers.” Those recordings were released as singles through the remainder of that year, while the band still lacked a complete lineup. Guitarist Allan Välimaa contributed guest solos during this period.

Guitarist Topi Koivisto and bassist Juuso Kuivanen joined in late 2024, completing the five-piece lineup. INFINITE CHAOS played their first live shows across southern Finland in 2025. Their debut EP, “The First Chapter,” was released in November 2025 and collected material written during the founding trio’s time together.

The announcement states that all five members have since participated in writing. The current lineup comprises Kanerva on vocals, Halmetoja on drums, Parkkinen and Koivisto on guitars, and Kuivanen on bass.

“Accursed To The Bone” is available on major digital streaming services, according to the announcement.
