A full stream of Unbound and Unforgiving, the debut album by UNCHAINED VENGEANCE, is available through NWOTHM on YouTube. The October 27 announcement places the stream ahead of the album’s October 30, 2026 release through Nameless Grave Records.
The Portland, Oregon epic heavy metal band pairs vocalist Nick Courtney with multi-instrumentalist Nick Wusz, who handles guitars, bass and drums. Courtney’s background includes Vicious Rumors and the Iron Maiden tribute band Fear of the Dark; Wusz is also associated with Dolven and Travellers Rest.
The ten-track record centers on stories of courage, loss, revenge and redemption. “The Whisper of Sorrowsbane” explores the bond between a warrior and a blade, “False Knight” condemns false champions, and “Only Ruins Remain” follows a return to a fallen homeland. The announcement describes galloping rhythms, soaring vocals and heroic melodies, with acoustic passages and instrumental interludes providing quieter sections.
Fen Walker contributes the interludes on tracks 1, 4, 7 and 10. The press material positions the album for listeners of Hammerfall’s Glory to the Brave era, Doomsword, Crescent Shield and Iron Maiden.
Wusz recorded the music at Cirrus Studios in Portland, Oregon. Vocals were recorded at Perfect Audio in Vancouver, Washington, where Pooya Entezari mixed and mastered the album. Silvana Massa created the cover artwork, Obscure Visions handled the layout, and the album credits name Brendan Elliott as logo artist. The supplied band photography is credited to Entezari.
