ARCHON ANGEL have shared an official lyric video for “Beyond The Grave,” the title track of their third studio album. The melodic metal band will release the 11-song record on December 11, 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl.
The announcement, distributed by Freeman Promotions, brings together the new track and vocalist Zak Stevens’ account of the album’s writing process. Stevens, formerly of Savatage, works alongside guitarist, songwriter and producer Aldo Lonobile. The project grew from their shared interest in Savatage, while the announcement describes its subsequent direction in terms of cinematic songwriting and melody.
Stevens commented: “I’m very excited to announce the release of our third ARCHON ANGEL album, 'Beyond The Grave'! I thoroughly enjoyed working on this record. I think it’s our strongest effort to date. As far as the music goes, we’ve ventured into areas and inspirations that we haven’t previously explored. That’s a goal with every ARCHON ANGEL record, but we were able to explore a lot more angles during the writing of this one. All of the guys in the band and the entire writing team did a great job. We’re all excited to get this album out there for everyone to check out.”
The supplied album description emphasizes arrangements, guitar work and melodies supporting Stevens’ vocals. His statement places the emphasis on exploring additional musical inspirations during writing, without identifying specific influences or detailing the title track’s lyrical subject.
“Beyond The Grave” opens the album, followed in order by “Bloodline,” “Without Eyes,” “You,” “Chasing Demons,” “Darkest Hour,” “Ethereal,” “Who Am I,” “Asylum,” “My Crime” and “As One.”
The announced lineup credits Stevens with vocals, Lonobile with guitars and bass, and Marco Lazzarini with drums. Antonio Agate is credited with synth and orchestral, piano and keys arrangements.
Preorders are available for Beyond The Grave. The band photograph accompanying the announcement is credited to Susan Clayton Photography.
