  • Ice Nine Kills Raise Over $100,000 For California Wildfire Victims With "Heed The Call For California" Benefit Shirt

Ice Nine Kills have raised over $100,000 and counting for victims for the California Wildfires with their exclusive "Heed The Call For California" benefit shirt, 100% of the proceeds from which are going to the California Fire Foundation Wildfire and Disaster Relief Fund.

Having been personally affected by the wildfires, Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas shares

"The band began on the East Coast, but we consider Los Angeles our second home.

Most of us live in California, and like many people here, we felt powerless as we watched the devastation unfold. However, our global community of supporters and friends is strong. We knew that if we called on them for help, they would rise to the occasion, and they have.

We are proud to stand alongside other musicians, creatives, and workers in our industry to support the ongoing relief efforts in any way we can."

The "Heed The Call For California" benefit shirt will be available for the rest of this week HERE or fans can donate directly to the California Fire Foundation Wildfire and Disaster Relief Fund HERE.

    About Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills craft passionate and precise anthems that blend metalcore, melody, and punk with theatrical bombast, which has fostered a devoted fanbase of “Psychos” who revel in the band’s horror-infused pop culture lore. Hit singles such as Hip to be Scared,” “Funeral Derangements,” and “The American Nightmare” celebrate horror legends with inescapable hooks, heavy riffs, and clever lyrical twists. Led by Spencer Charnas, the band’s breakthrough albums, The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, propelled them to new heights, earning spots on major tours with Slipknot and Metallica and firmly embedding them within the horror community.

The band’s immersive “INKverse” includes cinematic videos, the Psychos Only Club, graphic novels, true crime mockumentaries, and the annual Silver Scream Convention, which expanded to the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 2024. Spencer Charnas, who started the band during high school, has guided Ice Nine Kills through stylistic evolutions from their beginnings playing battle-of-the-band competitions to their status as visionary multimedia raconteurs. The Billboard chart topping Silver Scream albums paid loving homage to horror icons like Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Chucky, Pennywise, patrick Bateman and more. The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood landed Ice Nine Kills their first Top 20 placement on the Billboard 200 and introduced the chilling new slasher icon, Silence.

Hailed by Loudwire as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now,” Ice Nine Kills captivates with inventive band-fan connections, immersive, theatrical live shows, and a growing legion of "pyschos" the world over. With over 2.3 million monthly Spotify listeners1 billion career streams, and 210 million YouTube views, the band has cemented itself as a dominant and visionary force in modern metal, fearlessly carving out a thrilling, horror-inspired legacy.

  • Telepathy Announce New Album "Transmissions" + Share New Track "Oath"

UK-based post-metal instrumentalists Telepathy have announced the release of their fourth full-length, Transmissions, on March 14 through Berlin's Pelagic Records. Pre-order it here.

Formed in 2011, Telepathy is the creation of three Polish brothers: Piotr, Albert, and Krystian Turek, and English guitarist Richard Powley. Bringing a collision of musical influences from Tool, Deftones, and Vangelis to genres as diverse as synthwave and post-punk, it is the collective's pervading love for film and movie scores that truly unites the band's members under the Telepathy banner. Together, the four-piece quickly made a name for themselves through their instrumental balance of atypical tunings, found audio samples and joyride-like time signatures, conveying remarkably deep and dynamic narratives through their instruments alone.

Telepathy's latest offering Transmissions marks the culmination of four years of introspection, experimentation and revitalisation; representing the band at its expressive core. Inspired by faded photographs unearthed in the brother's family home and the surprise discovery of a long lost relic, Transmissions is a cluster of musical messages that hurtles between nostalgic snapshots of the past and the everyday chaos of the present. Amongst precious memories and family treasures, the Turek brothers stumbled upon a recording of the first radio broadcast of statesman Józef Piłsudski, widely regarded as the founder of modern Poland. The wonder and optimism in his voice, captured over 100 years ago, ignited an inspirational drive to reflect this sense of awe in the present by pushing their musical creativity further than ever before.

This revolutionary reinvention is immediately apparent on lead single and opening track "Oath," which poured effortlessly out of the band in just one day. A recreation of that famous radio transmission introduces eight formidable minutes of widescreen riffs and thundering drums augmented by a new arsenal of cinematic synth textures that pushes Telepathy's already genre-defying ethos towards introspective new terrain as they reframe nostalgic awe as a means of embracing the beauty of a shared present

"Oath" is out now. Listen here.

"'Oath' embodies so much of why we make music and our commitment to one another and to our craft," the band says. "It's a big, heavy, and cinematic track, both epic and intimate. More than just a track, it's a promise—  a vow to push the boundaries of our sound and to create music that resonates deeply with us and you."

  • Dutch Futuristic Metallers CRYPTOSIS Launch New Single “Reign Of Infinite” + Video

Dutch futuristic metallers CRYPTOSIS have announced their return with a mighty, awe-inspiring sophomore album entitled 'Celestial Death,' set for worldwide release on March 7, 2025, via Century Media Records.

To further demonstrate the powerful and versatile material available on 'Celestial Death,' a second single entitled “Reign Of Infinite” is being made available today across digital platforms and can also be checked out in a video clip produced by the film production company F/53 HERE.

CRYPTOSIS checked in with the following comment about the track:

“We’re really excited to share our newest single, 'Reign of Infinite,' with all of you. This track is a dystopian anthem that dives deep into the rise of a new god, blending relentless Overkill-style double bass drums with an epic and dark atmosphere. It’s not your typical CRYPTOSISsound—most of the song rides on the same beat and pulse, creating a hypnotic energy, while Laurens’ vocals bring an atmospheric edge. As the second single from our sophomore album, 'Celestial Death,' 'Reign of Infinite' offers a glimpse into the vast and intense album we've created—one that’s darker, heavier, and more unrelenting than ever before. Stay tuned for the full album release, and let us know what you think!"

“We’re excited to announce our new album! A sonic journey that pushes all boundaries of everything we created before. This album represents our evolution - an exploration of darkness that’s both vast and cinematic. 'Celestial Death' pulls you into a haunting atmosphere with relentless heaviness. Each track digs deeper into the enigma of existence, decay and fragile hope. 'Celestial Death' is our darkest vision yet - a soundtrack to the chaotic world we live in. It’s heavier, bolder, and still very much CRYPTOSIS. We can’t wait for you to experience it, and join us in this new chapter. Prepare to ascend. The 'Celestial Death' awaits!".

Recorded by Olaf Skoreng at Tom Meier and Studio Moon Music between April and August 2024, mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios (Unleashed, Necrophobic, Hellbutcher) in Sweden and finally mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Studios (Arch Enemy, Borknagar, Amorphis) in Sweden too, 'Celestial Death' once more comes with artwork by Eliran Kantor (Kreator, Testament, My Dying Bride) and showcases the group on a darker, heavier, more melodic and extremely cinematic journey across its 11 tracks / 42 minutes of playing time.

    About XAON:

XAON. An elusive name born in the Alpine Might. Never quite fitting in any of the numerous galleries metal has to offer, drifting through the extremes whilst juxtaposing finesse and vehemence from an unworldly orchestra, endlessly exploring the vast echoic gloominess of the human mind.

In only a few short years, the combo has managed to step foot on 3 continents through the release of their debut album “The Drift”, notably across Europe with gothic metal monsters SIRENIA and folk metal legends TYR, in Japan with OBSCURA and ARCHSPIRE, in the US with THE VEER UNION, and sharing the stage in festivals across Europe with bands such as MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, GOJIRA, PARADISE LOST, ELUVEITIE and many more. In 2019, XAON came back with their critically acclaimed 2nd album “Solipsis” and raged across Europe with SEPTICFLESH and KRISIUN and distinguished themselves as an extremely powerful live act.

On July 1st, 2022, XAON released their new magnum opus, “The Lethean”, bringing the band’s grandiose aggressiveness to a whole new level, pummeling their way through a cataclysmic atmosphere while reaching a new majestic apotheosis. This record got them to play at the mighty WACKEN OPEN AIR 2023.
