  • BROCARDE Unveils “Feed My Soul” ft. KORN’s Ray Luzier – A Haunting Dive into Theatrical Horror Metal

Known for her haunting vocals, theatrical visuals, and ghostly whispers, Brocarde returns with her next sonic séance, blurring the line between the living and the dead. A gothic siren of symphonic metal and supernatural storytelling, her most visceral offering yet, “Feed My Soul,” is a thunderous single featuring the legendary Ray Luzier of KORN on drums.

“I love Brocarde’s very unique vocal style and vibe. She has mass aggression to sweetness and everything in between in her voice! The very interesting song arrangements and theatrical segments make the whole package a dynamic, fun adventure to listen to. I see great things ahead for her!” says Ray Luzier.

The track was recorded remotely across three cities: Brocarde in London, Luzier in Nashville, and producer Chris Collier (Korn, Mick Mars, Whitesnake) in Las Vegas. Though the trio never met during the recording process, fate intervened at Wacken Open Air, where Brocarde bumped into Luzier in the canteen.

“Watching Ray perform with Korn side stage was a powerful reminder of what I’m fighting for. That’s the level I want to reach,” adds Brocarde.

The “Feed My Soul” music video was shot in a haunted hunting lodge deep within Germany’s Black Forest, ominously known as The Demon Hotel. The setting mirrors Brocarde’s signature theatrical horror aesthetic, equal parts Phantom of the Opera and Edgar Allan Poe nightmare. From hushed whispers to guttural screams, she commands every moment with chilling precision, layering her vocals like a spectral choir and saturating each frame with raw emotion. The walls, adorned with taxidermy heads frozen in terror, serve as eerie spectators to the song’s themes of toxic entanglement and psychological warfare. Ray Luzier’s thunderous drumming injects a primal pulse, anchoring Brocarde’s ethereal delivery in a maelstrom of cinematic intensity.

"Feed My Soul is more than a song; it’s a spiritual experience. I wrote it alone in the dark, channeling voices from beyond and emotions I couldn’t explain. It’s about craving connection in a world that feels increasingly disconnected. I want listeners to question everything they see as normal,” adds Brocarde.

The single offers a glimpse into Brocarde’s long-awaited debut album, set for release in 2026, a decade in the making. While details remain under wraps, fans can expect a musical journey that’s as emotionally raw as it is visually spellbinding.

Brocarde’s rise has been anything but ordinary. From marrying (and exorcising) a Victorian ghost named Edwardo, to conducting paranormal investigations at Download Festival and Wacken Open Air, she’s carved a niche as rock’s most fearless medium. Her column “Terrifying Travels” in The Daily Star chronicles her encounters with the dead, while her website Brocarde.com documents her haunted adventures around the globe.

With “Feed My Soul,” Brocarde invites fans to step into her world, a place where music, magic, and madness collide.

But that's the beauty of this festival: it stays with you long after the amps cool down. Every year, Armstrong Metalfest brings together a community that truly loves heavy music. It's not just about bands and beer — it's about belonging. The friends you make, the moments you live, the memories that stick — they're why we keep coming back. If you've never been to AMF, consider this your sign. It's more than a music festival—it's a metal rite of passage. Once you go, it gets into your blood. We're already counting the days until the next one." - Stan Schinners of Broken Neck Radio / Absolute Underground Magazine (Live Review AMF 2025)

    About:

Since its inception in 2009 (with a brief hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), West Metal Entertainment and Armstrong MetalFest have championed hundreds of local bands while welcoming renowned international acts to the quiet town of Armstrong, British Columbia.

Every year, metalheads from across Canada and the U.S. converge on the scenic Okanagan Valley for three days of camping and two days packed with heavy metal mayhem. Under the blazing summer sun, fans revel in live performances, wrestling spectacles, scavenger hunts, and reconnecting with their extended metal family.

Armstrong MetalFest has hosted legendary headliners like Kataklysm, Cattle Decapitation, Archspire, Nekrogoblikon, Origin, Rivers of Nihil, Warbringer, Fallujah, Striker, and Beyond Creation, alongside rising stars from across North America. And when the final riff fades, the festival vanishes without a trace, leaving the landscape as untouched as it was before.

West Metal Entertainment, a non-profit society, not only produces Armstrong MetalFest annually but also supports the regional music scene by organizing performances at various venues, including all-ages shows, to inspire musical passion in both youth and adults.

  • ARC Releases Tour Recap Video w/ Visions of Atlantis + New Lyric Video For “Magnitudes” Off EP "Awaken The Machine"

Genre-defying metal NYC outfit ARC is sharing a tour recap video from their two support show dates with Visions of Atlantis at the beginning of April in Mechanicsburg, PA, and Brooklyn, NY.

"TRANSMISSION COMPLETE // LOG ENTRY: APRIL 5TH]

Mission: ARC LIVE OPERATION Status: SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED

"On April 5th, ARC deployed a full-scale sonic assault alongside the legendary Visions of Atlantis and the unstoppable force that is Seraina Telli. Frequencies were unleashed, systems overloaded, and the energy was out of this world. We extend our deepest gratitude to Visions of Atlantis and Seraina Telli for sharing the stage and the stars with us. It was an honor to journey through the soundscape together. To all who joined the transmission, you made it unforgettable.

TRANSMISSION LOG CLOSED // STAY TUNED FOR FUTURE SIGNALS," comments the band.

ARC is also sharing with fans its latest lyric video, "Magnitudes," in support of its latest EP, “Awaken The Machine”. The track speaks about the part of your brain that shuts everything off so you can conquer anything.

"Robotizing your human aspects and pushing through life as a mindless machine so you can win," adds the band.

    Watch and listen to Magnitudes"

Founded on visionary Sonny Angell's ambition to create a performance-based band with boundary-pushing music, ARC has rapidly established itself as one of the most innovative acts in modern metal. The band's philosophy, ‘ARC EVOLVES,' drives their constant reinvention and elevation of their sound and stage presence. They comment on what is in store:

“We constantly try to raise the bar, enhance our stage show, expand our thematic elements, and experiment with different musical styles. ARC is ambiguously mysterious, ARC is energy and machines. Human interpretations are on stage playing the music, however, ARC is all around us. Information being transmitted from... Somewhere in parts of your brain, you didn’t know you had.”

The band performs with meticulously planned choreography, custom costumes, specialized stage lighting, props, and synchronized on-screen visuals—all managed by a dedicated stage manager who travels with the band exclusively to orchestrate their technical production.

ARC's music seamlessly fuses the brutality and melody of extreme metal with retro-futuristic synth-wave electronica, creating an all-out assault on the senses. Their frenetic live shows combine lasers, smoke, blood, sweat, and the band's relentless energy in a performance experience that must be witnessed to be believed. They are recommended for fans of Rammstein, Dark Tranquility, and Dance with the Dead.

Their latest EP, "Awaken The Machine" (released Nov 15, 2023) is available on Arc-evolves.bandcamp.com and Spotify.

  • SPHERES Announces New Album "Shadows of Despair" with Progressively Extreme Single "Underworld"

Paris' SPHERES have an invitation to a spiritual journey and dystopian dimension with the release of their new single "Underworld". This is the first feast of new music since releasing their 2022 sophomore album "Helios". The new track, recorded and mixed by Chris Edrich (Devin Townsend, Tesseract, Leprous), is a preview of their third full-length "Shadows of Despair," set for release in October 2025.

Just like the world we live in, SPHERES' sound is becoming increasingly extreme, and their new song "Underworld" asks the question: can we evolve without destroying ourselves? We don't need to save the planet. The Earth has undergone several mass extinctions and will remain alive until our star, the sun, dies out. Humanity is less certain.

With "Underworld," listeners will be struck by the multitude of contrasts and textures that inhabit SPHERES' music: From sharp riffs to ethereal melodies, from clean singing to growls and screams, the atmosphere oscillates between dream and frenzy. Everything is designed to push the listener’s boundaries and invite them to take part in this expedition.
