JOHNNY RAY - Free my Soul

“Free My Soul” is about what happens when the conscious mind checks out and leaves the subconscious to carry everything alone. Fear, anxiety, panic, and survival instincts become the subconscious screaming for help, trying to keep the body and mind functioning without anyone truly at the wheel.

The song is the moment the conscious self finally wakes up, takes control again, and says, I’m here now. You don’t have to do this alone anymore. It’s about breaking out of survival mode, confronting the parts of yourself you’ve neglected, and learning how to actually live again instead of simply enduring. “Free My Soul” is a conversation between the conscious and subconscious mind, and the moment they finally become one again.
