The charity project Sicilian Artists for Charity comes back with a new release in italian with the occasion of Rare Desease Day and with the partnership of Fondazione Telethon. The sicilian combo is proud to introduce you “La Cura”, a neverending work of art by the sicilian songwriter Franco Battiato who died in 2021.
The song is rearranged from a Symphonic Metal view and it shows a new line-up made up of great sicilian artists.
Moreover, in the song you can find a touching sentence by the dear departed journalist Nadia Toffa in form of a play. Her struggle against cancer has become an ode to life.

Salvo Grasso: “It wasn't easy to approach to an evergreen song and sometimes untouchable whose legacy we love to thank one of the main poets of our era.
It was a challange to arrange in the form of Metal music manteining the identity of the song but also an impressive experience in my life”.
Salvo Calà: “We wanted to honour a great artist and our Country by singing a song in italian. Battiato was an innovator and an absolute visionary by the musical and lyrics points of view. May be this version can touch your hearts and the hearts of youngs who don't know him artistically”.
The song arranged and scored by Salvo Grasso in collaboration with Salvo Calà was mixed and mastered by Riccardo Samperi for TRP MUSIC.

Il progetto benefico Sicilian Artists for Charity, in occasione della “Giornata Mondiale delle Malattie Rare” e con il patrocinio di Fondazione Telethon, ritorna con una nuova uscita discografica stavolta in lingua italiana. Attraverso l'etichetta Rockshots Records il combo siciliano è orgoglioso di presentarvi “La Cura” capolavoro immortale del conterraneo maestro Franco Battiato scomparso nel 2021.
La canzone come da marchio di fabbrica è riarrangiata in chiave Symphonic Metal e vede una nuovissima line-up composta da tanti altri fantastici artisti siciliani.
Inoltre, all'interno del brano è presente sotto forma di recita una toccante frase della compianta giornalista Nadia Toffa che ha fatto della sua lotta contro il cancro un inno alla vita.
