The full stream of ACHERONTAS’ For the Blood of Tiamat – Praxis I – XXX Years Anniversary of Magick and Metamorphosis is available through the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel. The four-track mini-album marks thirty years of the band’s engagement with ritual practice, Magick and transformation.

Osmose Productions announced October 30 as the international release date, with editions on CD, 12-inch vinyl and cassette tape. The stream presents the complete sequence, from “Crowned in the Higher Self” to “Ex Tenebris Ad Lucem, Ex Lucem Ad Abyssum.”

The announcement describes the tracks as successive stages of one initiatory rite. Its conceptual framework draws on ancient philosophies, experiential initiation and the mysteries of Blood and the Great Mother Tiamat. Within that framework, the Draconian Archetype is presented as a living reality experienced through practice, rather than solely as a symbol.

“Crowned in the Higher Self” opens the sequence with inner sovereignty and the awakening of the Drakonian Current. “Abyssic Rite of Self-Deification” then addresses the dissolution of the profane self through Blood, Fire and initiation, revealing what the announcement calls the eternal Principle within the Magician.

The title track is described as an offering to the Primordial Mother, connecting her Blood with transformation, Magick and the cycle of becoming. The closing invocation brings Light and Darkness together as a single gateway for the Dragon’s journey beyond matter and time.

The release material distinguishes three hymns that retain the Coven’s “atavistic, raw, and timeless” spirit from a fourth ceremonial invocation that completes the rite. Together, the four pieces frame the anniversary around thirty years of Nightside experience, contemplation and practice.
