New York’s Irving Plaza is on HAKEN’s 2027 ‘in a fever dream’ North American itinerary, with a March 26 performance featuring support from Einar Solberg and Thank You Scientist. The UK progressive, alternative metal band will begin the run on March 4 at Moonline in Austin, Texas, following the completion of their European tour.

“We cannot wait to return to North America in March/April 2027,” HAKEN said in the announcement. The band invited listeners to experience the group in a new way as they bring audiences into the fever dream.

The announced dates extend through April 2 at Cruise To The Edge in Miami. Einar Solberg will not appear at that final stop. The Cleveland venue for March 20 remains to be confirmed. The announcement lists Friday, October 30 as the ticket on-sale date.

Reviews quoted in the announcement address the EP’s experimentation and its connection to the band’s established sound. Prog Magazine highlighted “healthy portions of experimentation, huge musical moments, odd time signatures and Jenning’s inimitable vocals.” Blabbermouth.net described ‘in a fever dream’ as “both a brave step away from the expected and a strident consolidation of everything that the band have achieved to date,” while The Prog Report noted that its songs “should be accessible to curious new listeners too.”

The announcement lists HAKEN’s members as Ross Jennings, Richard Henshall, Pete Jones and Ray Hearne. It also announces a new band newsletter through their website.
