VERMIANAEVUS’ self-titled debut album is streaming in full through the No Gleaming Light YouTube channel. The seven-track stream accompanies the announcement of an international October 30 release through Amor Fati Productions on CD and vinyl LP.

Hekla, Karapan Darvish and Exesor brought the project into existence, with the sounds and compositions captured on the debut dating back several years. The announcement leaves the project’s origins largely unexplained, focusing instead on the material and its lunar imagery.

The press text frames the album around foreboding depths, hidden lunar caverns and creatures in an unknown cosmic landscape. It describes the music as blistering and bludgeoning, with passages that become eerily haunting. Those descriptions establish the announcement’s musical and conceptual context without identifying specific instrumental roles for the three named participants.

The complete sequence runs from “Nexus of Inexorable Darkness” to “Beneath a Vengeful Lunar Gaze,” with the title track appearing sixth. The supplied tracklisting and individual running times follow.

  1. Nexus of Inexorable Darkness — 6:54
  2. The Aching of Caldera — 6:13
  3. Tempest of Rampant Phrenesis — 9:54
  4. Consumed by Gyration — 7:38
  5. Carnassial Torment — 3:41
  6. Vermianaevus — 5:43
  7. Beneath a Vengeful Lunar Gaze — 6:42
