ONE MILLION DEAD, the five-piece from Huelva, Spain, have joined Art Gates Records, the label announced. Both the band and Art Gates Records CEO Iván Magdalena supplied statements welcoming the partnership.
The band said: “We’re thrilled to start working with a record label of this calibre. We’re incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to become part of the Art Gates Records roster!”
In its announcement, Art Gates Records describes ONE MILLION DEAD as combining thrash metal, old-school heavy metal and hard rock. The label identifies twin guitars and a combination of clean and guttural vocals as elements of the band's sound.
Magdalena's statement focuses on the group's musical direction and live performances. He described their sound as “brutal and visceral, firmly rooted in Thrash and old-school Heavy Metal, but driven by a clear ambition to move forward.”
“We are extremely proud to welcome them to Art Gates Records and to stand beside them as they unleash this new chapter,” Magdalena added.
The label said further news about ONE MILLION DEAD's next activities would follow. The signing announcement did not specify an album title, a new single or a release date.
