LITA FORD will headline Frontiers Rock Festival 2027, while GUILD OF AGES will perform a special set dedicated to Heat Of Emotion. Both performances are part of the first seven artist announcements for the festival, scheduled for April 30, May 1 and 2, 2027, at Live Club in Trezzo sull'Adda (Milan), Italy.
Frontiers Music Srl has also confirmed HAREM SCAREM, PAUL LAINE, GRAND, CARE OF NIGHT and VYPERA. Further artists remain to be announced.
Guitarist and vocalist LITA FORD joins the bill following the release of “Dracula,” her debut single on Frontiers Music Srl. Her career began as lead guitarist in THE RUNAWAYS before she moved into solo work. Her multi-platinum 1988 album Lita included “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever,” her duet with OZZY OSBOURNE. The announcement also notes her multiple Grammy nominations and nearly five decades in rock.
GUILD OF AGES recently signed with Frontiers Music Srl and expect a new studio album in early 2027. Their festival appearance will focus on Heat Of Emotion. The American melodic hard rock band began in 1993 as CITA, building an audience in Europe and Japan with Act I: Relapse Of Reason. Working under the guidance of former AXE and BLACKFOOT member Bobby Barth, they developed a sound centered on vocal harmonies, melodies and hard rock guitars. Their catalogue also includes One, Vox Dominatas and Citadel; the announcement describes their current chapter as arriving more than two decades after their original run ended.
HAREM SCAREM have another album planned for 2027, following Chasing Euphoria in 2025. Vocalist Harry Hess and guitarist Pete Lesperance formed the Canadian melodic hard rock band in 1987. Their releases include 1993's Mood Swings and a series of albums through their longstanding relationship with Frontiers Music Srl. The announcement reports more than a million records sold across 43 countries and 12 Top 40 hits worldwide.
Canadian singer and songwriter PAUL LAINE brings a catalogue spanning nearly four decades, from his 1990 solo debut Stick It In Your Ear through his years fronting DANGER DANGER and work with DARKHORSE, SHUGAAZER and THE DEFIANTS. His latest solo album, The Long Road Back, was produced alongside longtime collaborator Bruno Ravel and combines ballads with melodic rock.
Stockholm AOR band GRAND have expanded to a five-piece lineup featuring vocalist Mattias Olofsson and guitarist Jakob Svensson. Their latest album is Guilty Pleasure, following their self-titled 2022 debut and 2024's Second To None. Their influences include FOREIGNER, TOTO, STARSHIP and GIANT.
Sweden's CARE OF NIGHT combine 1980s melodic rock with progressive influences. Their third studio album, Reconnected, was their first for Frontiers Music Srl. Their live background includes an appearance at Sweden Rock Festival before more than 15,000 fans.
VYPERA complete this first wave with hard rock and heavy metal drawing on W.A.S.P., DOKKEN, EUROPE and ICON. The Swedish band's albums include Eat Your Heart Out (2022) and Race Of Time (2023), and their festival appearances include Time To Rock and Muskelrock.
