BOSCO SACRO composed their second studio album, Inhabit, entirely live in their rehearsal room before recording it over seven days with producer Lorenzo Stecconi. The Italian quartet will release the eight-track record on November 6, 2026 through Supernatural Cat Records, with LP, CD, digital and limited-edition LP + CD bundle formats announced.
The announcement supplied by EARSPLIT PR describes eight interconnected tracks concerned with ego dissolution and rebirth. Its musical framework brings together doom, slowcore, dreamgaze, ambient and trip-hop, extending the group's stated interest in nature and music as a healing and liberating force. These descriptions frame the album's intentions rather than a track-by-track assessment of the recording.
Recording took place at Daniele Onori's AMM, Monteggiori Studio in the Tuscan hills. Stecconi also mixed and mastered Inhabit at Triple Sun in Rome. His previous work includes Amenra, Zu, Ufomammut and Lento, and he had already worked with BOSCO SACRO on their debut, Gem.
The cover features Testa di Terra, or Head of Earth, a raw clay sculpture by Italian artist Roberta Busato. The sculpted face appears with closed eyes above rubble. The announcement connects that meditative image to the album's invitation to leave customary routines and consider a space in which past and future coexist.
The physical presentation continues into the limited edition. According to the supplied announcement, artwork from the regular edition reappears across its layers. An irregularly shaped opening in the cover sits above four differently colored, concentrically die-cut inserts, with the disc revealed beneath them. The inner sheets can be rotated, changing the appearance of individual copies.
The running order is “Inhabit,” “Gift From The Fog,” “Silence Dances,” “Desert Of Sense,” “Vertigo,” “Dong-Dee,” “Trickster” and “The Future Past.” Preorders, merchandise and presaves are available through the label's announced release destination. Supernatural Cat Records is operated by members of Ufomammut and the Malleus Rock Art Collective.
BOSCO SACRO formed in 2020 with Paolo Monti on guitar, Giulia Parin Zecchin on vocals and lyrics, Francesco Vara on guitar and Luca Scotti on drums. Monti's other projects include The Star Pillow and DAIMON; Zecchin works as Julinko. Scotti and Vara formerly played in Tristan da Cunha, while Vara is also active in Altaj.
The band's debut, Gem, arrived through Avantgarde Music in 2023. In 2025, following an artistic residency at Villa Albrizzi Marini in San Zenone degli Ezzelini, BOSCO SACRO released Live At Chiesa Armena through Go Down Records. That release documented a performance recorded inside a 17th-century church.
The quartet has performed throughout Italy and Europe, including appearances at Brutal Assault, A Colossal Weekend, Frantic Fest, Curtarock and Bear Stone. The current announcement also confirms that the members are available for interviews surrounding Inhabit.
